PUFF   We have an excellent Verizon store about 15 min away in Niles.  Have never been disappointed with the tech. help.  Overheard the tech telling a customer  " If you ever need tech help call 611 and ask for tech help"  I wrote it down  ;) ;)   Yes they have lots of tricks of the trade.  Learned 2 easy ones today I wish I had  known about over the past 6 years  LOLOL  Have not heard of yours however.   " Family"  so different today.

LISA  Idyllic AM pic today  :)  So after 1 hour and 30 min - not all with me however - my recordings are on my new phone  HOWEVER  they did not transfer to the App!!!  They are in downloads which I still can't find  ::)  And I didn't have the heart to tell her that only the sound is there - not the ID of the bird, which you would only get if it was in the app.  Oh well, I will start over.  You're always in my prayers (((HUGS FOR LISA)))

LANI   How cute is that Dewey  ;D   Fascinating how a bird's life is genetically programmed.  How would they know to do all those things if not programmed.   We will watch golf and if we recognize today's players we'll continue  LOL  Busy at my end as well with the start of a "new" year.  To look at Antali one would not know he is a juvenile"

TIG   LOL  Cody  ;D ;D ;D    I forgot what was next - only home for a day?

CLYNN  The worst pic of my entire life - LOLOL  I think of you every time I use my watermelon knife - not only for watermelon but for bread!!  So know that you are thought of a LOT.  ;D   I have Erin's advise already taped to the side of my computer desk  ;D

BAZI    I"m so glad you did mention that diagnosis cuz I don't remember it from past discussions.  I got scared as that was just what Tim's cousin had - headaches that wouldn't stop. - But of course his was a tumor.  I'm so happy to hear you have been diagnosed altho those periods must be just terrible for you.

TSK... Next is all the usual tourist sites between Buffalo and Oacoma... which will take a week. Then we will go up north for our anniversary.  8)

tsk - about your bird calls;
First recommendation is to install an app called Samsung DeX - this app will allow you to use a USB cable to your computer and then display the phone screen onto the computer monitor.  It also includes a file transfer app for your phone.
Using the "My Files" app, you can locate your old recordings - according to google, your Merlin files are stored in the folder Music/Merlin.  The tech may have put them into the folder internal storage/Music/Samsung - drag and drop to the correct folder if that occurred.

The other possibility to check first is permissions under "Settings > apps > Merlin > Permissions and verify that Merlin has permission for Microphone.

LISA   LOL  Could not find  "my files" folder app - come to find out with further googling and Samsung site it was cunningly disguised as the "Samsung" app   ::)  There were the files under a music clef - I just deleted them all and will start over on my recordings.

LANI   LOLOL  that caption was great on the "fisherdog"..

OLDGUY   Thanks but too late - I was too frustrated and deleted.  The recordings were there but unless they were in the Merlin app they were useless as there was no ID on each one.        Quite a cat tower!!  Volcano wall collapse -dramatic  :o

Somehow we know that flight might be delayed from Scott's Cabin.   Beyond host !

And there ain't anybody happier than our Kopje.

Planes Trains and Automobiles my big tail wag is by water conveyance.
