We've seen these slow moving tropical remnants linger before and they just suck .

Sit and spin - the wrong way - lather rinse repeat - RAIN.

If it's going to cross your X on the map you always want it to come and go as quickly as possible like a Band Aid ripped off.

Baziunc you and Zippo keeping your Crackers dry by the Fear make us smile.

The Debby rain bands look tolerable there.

Well, tsk  I did make it home.  Meeting ended at 3 - a little late - got home amost 5:30 - a lot late.  You'd understand my delayed ride.  Got on 294 at I190 with ORD arrivers.  Construction traffic started by I90 mergers, that followed by accident.  Long story - led to six lanes down to 2 lanes until I88.  Didn't even stop for a chopped salad I thought I deserved.  :-[  Munched on some sliced cheese and choc chip cookies and milk for dinner.  Flopped into bed to watch day's Olympic replays.  Plus the extra stops I wanted to fit in yesterday afternoon went no where.   Rain - what rain?  Got caught up on things I had on that "to do" list.  Didn't even check the gauge.

Lots of worries and anticipation for all the "stuff" being done for beakers/ to beakers.  I know it's just the unknown - but we do have lots of all our experiences posted here to say the worry is worse than needed.  We've catalog lasix, knees, backs, medication available along with their effectiveness, rehabs, treatments etc, etc, etc.  We should dwell on the many prayers, comforting words and thoughts, hugs,  and our God to get us back into a comfort zone.

For all my dear, lovely friends here - let's keep sharing the optimistic.

TSK... I just decided to switch orthopedic companies after researching the doctors and that there is guided administration of shots available and also custom built knees. My new doctor will have a colleague contact me because he does guided shots. The doctor explained my right knee is too bad for a custom knee though.

NZ?  Really?  That's a good one.  I was near there on Monday.  Well, for 6 hours, almost.  The conference tsk was asking about was a 6 hour seminar on Australia and Tahiti, mostly Australia.
We had 16 Aussies honchos speak their messages to us.  Almost understood all the words they said.   ;D  Love accents.  Tahiti was a repeat, I've done 10 days there.  In case anyone is listening - 1 or 2 days should be planned for Pepeete on Tahiti Island.  For the ambiance and culture of the islands, about 4 or 5 days each on Bora Bora and Mo'orea.

All new to me was the info on Tatiaroa and the Marquases Islands.  Whole new set to learn about, visit?  In my bucket.  Wish I knew your plans sooner.

Wednesday’s Wisdom
The hump of the week, a midpoint’s nest
Where lessons learned, and experiences find rest
The world’s a book, with pages yet unread
As Wednesday’s insights, our minds and hearts do feed

The whispers of the past, a ancient’s sage
As wisdom’s treasures, our souls do engage
The world awakens, with a new-found sight
As Wednesday’s revelations, shine like morning light

Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, Can't get no caffeination! Love it! Peace! Wednesday's Wisdom, very thought provoking...  Depresso!!!

tsk, our old music is the best! Songs we could sing to and be happy! Or sad, in some cases. The first 45 I bought in Jr. High. Last Kiss. J Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers

Lani, never watched Yellowstone, the previews looked too soapy. Don't want my image of Yellowstone marred!  ;D  My first car was a 1962 Ford Falcon with a Viet Nam sticker on the trunk top. Dad got it for my 18th birthday, column shift, which I had never driven! He told me later that he paid $275 for it! I drove it to death...  I recognize several of the 1960 songs! Mom and Dad probably played them!  Looks like a huge crowd at Hellgate, I am surprised Dr. Green went along with it. Maybe he didn't! It looks like the ospreys are handling it okay though!

BL, New Zealand?  Wow, what will you do there? Are you going to horrible locations? Wonder if you will be anywhere close to the Royal Albys. May you fly out soon!

Puff, sounds like you had a miserable ride home from your meeting!

karen, glad to hear that your weather has calmed down, now Piper can go out and do his business?

Phyl, I love Bath & Body Works! I have probably 25 of their 'Fine Fragrance' body sprays, they are my light scented everyday scents. Great lotions and bath items. Bed Bath and Beyond was bought by Wayfair and closed all their brick & Mortar stores. They are online only now.  Love your little Good Night girl!

baz, glad to hear that you fared well by Debby!

Explore the vibrant landscapes of Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada 🇺🇸. The winding roads through these stunning, multicolored rock formations make for an unforgettable adventure.

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

Hellgate invasion is really concerning. . . Do we know how long they're suppose to be there?

My ride from hell - It's not that commonplace, one reason I posted it was it was "unique", called living in the big city.  It doesn't happen every day.  Thanks God!  (That's another advantage of NOT living in the big city.  Been there, done that.)

Thanks for the wild find clynn.  Dozens of trips to Nevada - Never saw that beautiful landscape.

Clynn, lol, one reason I fared well by Debby is because Debby hasn’t gotten to me yet!! It is currently 50 miles southeast of Charleston, SC, over the ocean! It is just hanging out over the water south of NC. It is only moving at 4 mph! Category Slow! It won’t get to me till some time tomorrow. Lol. Zippo and I are just hanging out watching stuff drip.

Here is the National Hurricane Center’s info about it, as of 8 AM, EDT, this morning. See the Discussion section for when it will go where, and below that is the expected impacts over the next couple of days:
