GOOD MORNING

PUFF  Just checked the gauge - 1/2"  I'm grateful

LANI   Nice closing last night with TF chick at sunset

PHYL   Crazy memes this morning  ;D  Well I would agree about the cuckoo chick   ;D ;D

CLYNN   I'm getting shades of orange this AM.  My first apt away from home had an orange sleeper sofa  LOL   Yes 1/2" of rain and one clap of thunder.   My bet is too much activity at the hatchery area - people and traffic..  Hellgate  :)  Love the barge on the River.

Well Tim has gone through 3 injections now and that doc has now referred him to an orthopedic surgeon!  We see him on Monday at 4 PM  sigh.  Was amazed we got in so quick!

Good Morning Beakers.....TGIF!!!

tig - Your meals sounded good.

tsk - Lani inspired me, I took out a few Fall things.  :D  Did you get the rain by 8 pm?  Good luck to Tim with the orthopedic surgeon.  Keep us posted!

Phyl - Thanks for explanation on #  :D

Lani - Pretty sunset pic from Royal cam.

clynn - I wish the eagles were talking to tell us why they don't want to use the nest, but my guess is too much human activity around the hatchery, and maybe noise from Willard's home which is now a AirBnB.

{{{Lisa}}}  :-*

Phyl, Fun Friday morning pics!  ;D ... cuckoo chick  :-*

Tsk, Lovely antique cup and saucer. I have mugs and small plates in a green pattern .... Re: Grief session, I just went with a friend for her first visit...  This is a small town, the grief counselor is a dear friend... I won't go again. There are privacy issues.... Prayers for {{{Tim}}}

Clynn, fun morning posts... wonderful pics of Antali and Sum-eh  :-* ... beautiful Horseshoe Bluff... The reasons Decorah eagles are moving away from their old nests, may be human activity and the many geese that seem to be making Decorah their home.

Waving to All the Beakers!  :)

Karen, get the galoshes out for you and Piper, and remember not to park in the low spots.  ;)  Zippo and I have checked out the 2:00 PM, EDT, afternoon update for PTC Four, and we are ready for rain, rain, rain.

The rainfall portion of that 2:00 PM EDT update, from https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCPAT4+shtml/021732.shtml  said:

"RAINFALL: Potential Tropical Cyclone Four is expected to produce
rainfall totals of 4 to 8 inches, with maximum rainfall totals up to
12 inches, across portions of Florida and near the Southeast U.S.
coast this weekend through Wednesday morning. This rainfall could
result in areas of flash and urban flooding, with isolated river
flooding possible."

The next complete update will be at 5:00 PM EDT.

Have a good evening, Beakers. Peace.

MPLS/St.PAUL traffic cam reports; Nothing to see in this video but that FIRST driver is babysitting an injured eagle until a Trooper (or someone) can bring it to the Raptor Center.

Good for somebody!...It's ghastly hot here too.
