Good Morning Beakers

tig - I got the email about doing the new login, so I did it too.  Glad you got your Hulu fixed.

tsk - I like the Synchronized pairs diving, too.

Phyl - What surprise did you get from Facebook when you reactivated?  Thanks for info on double meteor shower next week.

Lani - Happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with Aly, and that she helped you with your honey-do list. Interesting names for the Hellgate kiddos. Thanks for the Royal update...TF so beautiful!

karen - Isn't that always the way....water the plants and then it rains.  ;D

clynn - Cool pic of the  San Andrés Fault. Great close-ups of the Hellgate kiddos.

kb, Puff and all - Morning  :)

Well... We were stuck in a deluge while returning from our church annual meeting last night. Wow.
Then, I had a snack (since it was fruit and sweets at church).. some meatballs... and unfortunately... and what I rarely consume... the bottom of the bag of Ruffles potato chips. I awoke at 2 a.m. and noticed a swollen top lip on one side! I can feel a couple abrasions with my tongue. When I tried a cool pack this morning it got worse and moved. I called and the nurse agreed to stop and just try ibuprofen. Sheesh.
On top of that... the neighbor started in at 5:30 a.m. Someone called the police and she left for a while but when she returned he started again. Two mental health personnel?? arrived and returned later. Police returned and it took 9 officers to subdue him. He was then taken by ambulance. I hope a solution is found. I'm afraid for her safety when he gets out.
Back to resting...

CLYNN   The birdhouse tree.  Wonder if any get occupied?  In the Summertime.  That's another piece of happy music!  Or how about:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sVB91NTa4A    I do like the names " Elder and Younger" better  ;D ;D ;)  Saw that fault pic on FB but also saw a comment that said it was fake ???

LISA   I always get an early, yearly doc visit so I don't have to wait too long but also I can't stand to be without my AM coffee.  * AM visit and home by 9"10 and my coffee.  I felt much better..LOL

OLDGUY   Nice big rainfall for you.  We had a light rain this AM and now waiting for the second round.  Cute playful kitty.

TIG   Was that the neighbor who had the knife that they failed to take away the other day?  Very sad.   So what was the lip swelling from - the  chips?  or acid in some of the fruit?

LANI   Myrtle   LOLOL

tsk - I hate to be without coffee first thing, too.  And, of course those days for fasting blood work makes you want the coffee 10x's more.  ;D

Lani - Awww, sweet Myrtle.  I hope she does well in the wild. Cute pic of Phoenix, JJ, Moose and Mimi.

tig - So sorry about your swollen lip, and about your neighbors.

oldguy - Wow, that is a nice rainfall.  Thanks for the videos.

LISA   I know.  And I eat my breakfast early as well so will sacrifice getting up early to see the doc.  No waiting if I'm the first patient  LOL

Well with 3 separate short downpours this afternoon we got a bit over 3/4"  ;D

I'm 99% sure it was the chips. I drank lots of water, had yogurt and honey, and lukewarm coffee for breakfast, eggs n cheese for lunch, bass n mashed potatoes for supper. No salt. Really missed it on some of those foods. Anyway... the lip is quite a bit better tonight.
Yes, same guy. I think it took the social workers to finally sign off on taking him. I forgot to mention he was naked for a few minutes at one point. I think the only folks who saw were the wife,  a guy walking by with his dogs, the plumber working at the house on the other side... and me (peeking out through our blinds). He did use his hand to cover himself though. !!!
Ok

You can have black coffee before ablood test.  It does not affect any test results!  Am sure cream and sugar and such wouls skew something! Have asked techs in many labs and a,ways get tge same answer! Glad I like my coffee “straight”!

MyrTle, if things do not go to your liking remember where you got good tlc and swing by and knock in the door!

In coming artillery is probably worse!

Baz, thought you were gone  more than a night!  Are tge kids as sweet as they look?

Good posts today, good pictures  and peppy music!  Still tired sovwill say, seds!

tsk, you are right, the picture posted is The Black Crack, a 65-foot-deep fissure along a trail in Canyonlands National Park in Utah. The length of the San Andreas fault is correct, 750 miles long, and is 10 miles deep, 15.5 miles deep in some places. Here is an aerial pic near Los Angeles.

tig, remember Gladys Kravitz? LOLOL!

Lisa, my doctor always wants blood work for my annual checkup, and the lab opens at 7:00 so I make sure I get there a little before 7:00. There are always a few people there already. Then I go home and have my coffee!

Lani, good luck to Myrtle! Cute picture of the four little sloths bunched up together on the branch!

oldguy, I asked Ed if it rained last night, he said a storm went through with lots of lightening/thunder. Didn't wake me up at all!

Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah is a breathtaking natural wonder known for its unique geological formations called hoodoos. These tall, thin spires of rock, created by erosion, form a stunning amphitheater of red, orange, and white hues. Visitors can explore the park's scenic viewpoints, hiking trails, and stargazing opportunities, all while marveling at the dramatic landscapes. Sunrise and sunset offer particularly spectacular views, highlighting the park's vibrant colors and intricate rock structures. Bryce Canyon's otherworldly beauty makes it a must-see destination for nature enthusiasts and photographers.

Lol Clynn! I'm much better at hiding...
Guess what? He's back home already... Carrying a baseball bat at yelling at folks on the trail across the street. Then, she tried to drive away and he was tapping the back window with the bat and then lay across the hood for a bit while they blocked traffic. Hope someone calls the police again. Hope it doesn't need to be me.
Sigh

Hi...

had some doctor appts today for each of us. Got a couple of referrals to specialists from my 'old' rheumatologist as he's
not set up to do those new  type OA injections. On the  huge cysts at the base of my thumbs and on
each hand. Doc said there was no cartilage and it was just bone on bone for my hands and knees.
The  specialists are at Elite Sports Medicine in Nashville. Dr. Amanda Martin (knees) is currently at the Paris
Olympics w/ the soccer team ,so there'll be a wait . But Dr. Dovan is in office (hands)

Thanks for the posts---will read them later tonight.
Take care...

Good Night Everyone... sleep well.
