https://www.consumerreports.org/electronics-computers/tvs/qled-vs-oled-and-qd-oled-which-tv-tech-is-right-for-you-a6691090566/

We just bought a new Samsung 77 inch QD-OLED..QD stands for quantum dot.

The 65 inch Samsung LCD is now downstairs in my bedroom and the Vizio in Chris' room

He knows all about this stuff.....hopefully the above link provides some info.

Our QD-OLED is very light cause it's not backlight.

For us, the soundbar and subwoofer are a great addition...

Hi Beakers, I hope Caturday was a good day for everyone!
It's been a long day, lots of traffic in the valley. There were a couple of times
I thought we were going to get in an accident.  :-X Lots of closed eyes moments.

I'll say good night early and catch up with everyone's Caturday tomorrow.

Have a good night!
;D

Lani -  I too like seafood and pineapple, but not on my pizza!! ;D   Hope you had a good day In Mesa for the meeting!   You & Mike have a nice weekend. :)

Clynn - Like the cute pics of your Munchkins!  I can imagine that you need to probably take it easy and rest a bit afterwards! ;D   Sam is 'calmer' than Sophie - usually someone has to be the more easy going one! ;D :)   Bummer your tv went out, but glad you got a new one and I'm sure Erin is correct!!

Phyl - LIke the caption that 'I am Happily owned by a cat'! ;D

Tsk - Lulu helping with taxes! So cute!! ;D

Karen - Wow, you had nice warm temp today!  We had cold showers off and on and even a little bit of hail!

Lori - Like your yummy post of goodies this morning. :)

Good Morning Beakers!

E4E, yes, I compare Sam and Sophie to Talon and Bella...  ;D  They will all be here today (it was just Erin and Sydney installing the TV last night). After they do my floors we will go out and eat for Sydney's birthday! Then we will come back here for her requested brownies/ice cream and she can open her birthday presents!

Lani, I hope you are getting some good rest and forgetting about the awful traffic! I don't like to go to certain stores on the weekend, it's just too much. I know here does not compare at all to Phoenix on the weekend, but I understand what makes you crazy!

Phyl, great Caturday cat pics, love the zillion dollar bill with the cat's picture on it! And Arnold has a job!  Hope Miss Maggie is doing well! WOW on the male/female Cardinal! Cute 365, I was waiting for something to pop up and it did!  Love the penguins and babies. 58 here now, high 77 today.  Open all the windows day!

kb, thanks for the info, Erin promised to show me what all this TV can do, I just wanted to be able to see the Guide and switch channels for now! I am sure there is a youtube out there! Ed also knows all that stuff, he has a 75" down in the Mole Hole, and I know he does a lot of recording and other stuff with the Hopper.  Not sure what kind it is.

tsk, was or is there a Giordano's that has rooftop seating in the warm months? Seems like we ate there when we visited Becky while she lived in Chicago! Very deep dish and good! The TV that only lived 3 years was a Toshiba! The next time we get a fish sandwich at Culvers I will tell Ed to get the Walleye! You have it, Sam has a very dark muzzle and points, Sophie is the lighter one! She has that little speck of dark fur on her chin that Ed says makes it look like a kid that has been eating chocolate!

some bounce

Had an ouch last night. After cleaning upstairs I rested a bit then prepared dinner. I was walking from the kitchen and placed my cane too far from my body and it slid on the floor. I righted myself quickly but my hip freaked out. Camper brought our cold pack and all seems well this morning. Resting and watching way too much TV today after I clean some on first floor.

Nancy incubating at her new nest. Nearby DNR nest. No camera this year. Remember, their previous nest fell down in our April ice/snowstorm last year and they lost their young chick. They hope to have a camera up here next season.

Good morning!  I checked on Jackie and Shadow last night and both were hunkered down on the nest with bad weather all around.  Looked on a little while ago and saw the same scene, Clynn captured!   Hatch due soon!   E 23 was being fed this am!  Initially thought this was a female but  now I think it may be too small!   Maybe a little M15!   Clynn, have fun with the family today and your new tv!  Put the eagle cams on there !
Lori, I am still stuffed from all the goodies you posted yesterday!  So good!
Lots of laughs with all the caturday posts!
Lani, hope you are rested!   Tig, it is okay to rest for a  day!
Dreary day but warm!  68 going to 78!
Baz, good pictures and looks like a fun time!   Baby Bro growing up!
Phyl, interesting Cardinal and information!
For several years in the last Century, I worked across the street from the original Unos and a few blocks south of Ginos East!   Kiddy corner across from the Medina Temple and saw the animals come in for the circus from my window!   Did not like the latter!

Day 3 and ramping up to be an awful cold.  Had to cancel a couple things today.  :(

PHYL  Funny cat memes  LOL   Peek a boo 365  ;D   Glandomorphs - a new one for me.  Wonder how they know a female is only fertile in her left ovary?

KB  Even reading about the anacronyms is confusing.

LANI   Good to be home safe and sound... ;)

CLYNN  Walleye only during Lent  :(  Giordano's in the city may have roof top seating.  Was Becky living in the city?    E23 " Look out World Here I Come"

TIG   Ouch - good going on the ice pack.

KAREN   You have a lot of history in Chicago!

Sunday Blessing Beakers!
Morning Emyrauld, Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tsk, Lisa, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eagles, Kb, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, Jilltosa, BL, Eburg, Weasel, Ezee, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Omasawyer, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

Hi Eagles I hope you're having a good weekend. ;D

T40, thanks for links.

Lori, prayers for Big Bear's nest. They always get hit with bad weather.  :'( ... Mike would love the banana pie.. yummy Brioche doughnuts! You always serve the best!  :-* ... fun Caturday pics.

{{{Baz}}} Love your great pics, it like is was a fun evening! Awesome fieldhouse!! Congrats on the big inter state rivalry game!!! Baby Bro in the NC blue jammies is no longer a baby! He's a big boy with gorgeous hair!  ;D :-*  .... I sort of mentioned Roy Williams in my post to you, just by posting his name (LOL), I won't deny there's still some hard feelings about that...  And he wasn't booed this last visit to Phog Allen's Field House! ;D 8).. But, before that, OUCH! ... Thanks for posting the basketball doings this weekend. MARCH MADNESS is around the corner!!! And I can hardly wait!! Love watching all the games. I think KU may be on the bubble, but that's okay, I'm all in anyway. Wouldn't miss a game! I wonder who will be this year's Cinderella team!  8)

Lisa, love your Caturday morning pic. Meeting was as wearing as the traffic. Glad it's done, next 4 hour meeting will be on zoom the 16th.

Karen, YAY! Great news about E23 branching... cheese/sausage/mushroom with extra cheese on thin crust is my favorite. Though I will not turn away from a magnificent Chicago deep crust pizza with extra cheese :-* .. growing up in Hawaii, people would assume I'm crazy about pineapple or Mai Tais. No to both for me. In fact, no one in my family likes pineapple on anything. My mouth puckers at the thought of eating one. :-X  My grandpa worked in the pineapple fields, and never brought one home. Now sugarcane is another story, grandpa would take me out to the cane field across the street from his home, cut a big stalk. Bring it home, remove the outer shell and cut chunks for me and the neighborhood kids to enjoy all day long.  ;D  8) .. In case someone thinks about too much sugar, I didn't get my first cavity until I was 22... I loved your comment to Lisa about diapers and walkers. LOLOLOL!  ;D ... I hope Piper didn't wear herself out doing taxes yesterday.

Puff, Pastorelli Pizza Sauce is now on my Walmart list! Oh my, your pizza maker will be gone in a sec at the ATF! Love the history of pizza and Tony.

Kb, a stunning rare white Cardinal... Gorgeous Jaquar, he just knows how majestic he is! ... YAY DNR Nancy! Prayers for this year's nest.

{{{Tig}}} Thanks for posting your videos of the Model Ts! Fantastic..... rest and take care, because your sweet Rosie is coming this week. Looking forward to seeing her pics.  ;D

Tsk, oh my poor Lulu tackling taxes! We're going to need to get serious about it soon. It's wonderful to see she's handling the task beautifully, being as organized as the briefcase is a great start.  :-*

Tsk, Lisa, Clynn, Karen, Phyl My Friday good night pic was from a senior dog rescue. The big ole Bear (my name for the sweet boy) won my heart. He reminded me of our Bandit our Bandido  :-* :'( :-*. That we rescued when he thought to be 11. I miss him very much. What a lover boy, Sadie doesn't like to be cuddled like he did. Bandit is one of my avatars. I wish more people would consider adopting a senior dog or cat, who just want to be needed, loved and feel safe in their final years.

Clynn, cute Caturday pics, especially the Munchkins, looks like it was a fun day.... Meeting gave me a headache, then dealing with traffic on the way home, and to top off my day I opened my mail and got a Jury Summons for the 13th! UGH  :-\ And the Jayhawks lost their game, that's 2 in a row. We need a Caitlin!!  ;D ... Poor Mike had to deal with traffic and listening to the game at the same time. Not good Caturday.... gorgeous pic of S & S, that's a keeper for a frame! Oh no a new TV, so far we've been lucky with our Samsung {{{Erin and Sydney}}}.... Happy to see Rosie and Richmond are together again. Why can't it be that way for our sweet Iris.  :-\ :-* ... awww prayers for Big Bear nest, thanks for pic. {{{E23}}} warning the owls who is boss!  ;D

Phyl, I enjoyed yesterday's RRP blog "Won't you be my neighbor" ... speaking of neighbors, cute little mouse digging out of its snow bank home after a long winter on the nature video.  :-* ... OMG! The cat and its baby chicks!"  ;D ...how interesting about the mixed gender cardinal. I'm glad that it isn't lonely too. I hope the couple following this rare beauty will continue to update on it's progress through this spring.

Lani   A few things I mention to my clients who go to the islands (maybe bring a surprise home to me?)  I mentioned the first before, 100% KONA coffee.  Only time I drink coffee.  Or bring back a fresh-picked pineapple, or two.  I really enjoy them, especially since with my anosmia it's one of the half dozen tastes I still have.  Lastly, they should enjoy an island mai tai or two in my honor.  Got my recipe from a bartender on Hawaii Island.

Island thoughts back on my mind with all the pineapple talk - I had/have a great remembrances of Oahu.  Our familiarization (fam) trips take us and make us learn all the great things no one ever mentions  - so I'll mention.  Picture this  .... In the middle of a pineapple plantation, after some beautiful and loud chanting, our leader/guide escorted the group into an area called "The Birthing Stones."  The background, religion, and heritage behind it all was fascinating.  The short description:  the men of the island would take charge when a royal princess was going into labor - and help her through it.  :o   I always mention this one when I'm asked for suggestions of unique things to do/see.  But you have to have the additional plus of a native Hawaiian so you get the extra knowledge and traditions!  Do you know the spot Lani?
