Here's the most recent/last update on the N2B geese from RRP.

We had gone by the hatchery yesterday and saw the piebald goose swimming on Trout Run and I'm assuming her mate, they were "talking" back and forth.  She sure is pretty.

I wonder if that is "our" pair with the single gosling awt the pond.  We'll never know for sure.

Nora very cool.
I think the pair of CG's and their gosling on the pond are the N2B geese that just jumped.

That piebald mother goose is brooding an egg in NEST ONE.

N1 Camera home as we would know it here to the world famous Mom & Dad Decorah Eagles.

Baby G is getting big, and making its way around the pond.  Cute moment this morning, when they crawled up under MG's wing to take a nap after their walkabout. Then, popped up after nap time.

My turn Lisa Time to chop down the hair, 1 pm.  Whew at least I don't have to wash it today; and will get a free massage.   Passing on the hairdo though - the rest of the day is forecast with off/on rain.

What a sweet family photo for the goose almanac!

HM & HD spent time at the N6 and Pasture Tree this morning.  Goose egg at N1 still waiting for hatching time.

LOL, Goose almanac!

Great pics, STL

If that egg at N1 hatches, it will be a miracle.

Snapped this pic at 4:49am, HM & HD must have spent the night in new nest tree, and a pic of the goose family close to the visitors center.

Today there's an additional family of geese at the Pond.  They have 5 or 6 little goslings.  Eventually they will all form a group, and one goose will keep watch while the other adults feed, etc.

Creek is running really high and fast, must have been heavy rain yesterday.  All our bird friends here seem to be OK.

HD (I think) had a fish on a large pasture branch about 10:00.  Branch shown in orange circle in the wider view, which also includes N6 in the Pasture tree at the upper right.

Beautiful break of day and views of the eagles and N6.  Things are same as yesterday for the various geese.
