It looks like all the 3rd one has to do is shake his/her butt helmet off and it will be scrambling around with it's sibs soon.   :D

I also saw that when mom rolled the 4th egg there was down poking out of the 'pointy end' of the egg.   8)

The N2BMG is hiding the unhatched with great care this morning!  I've seen two goslings and maybe a feather or two of the third so far.

STL, you must have just missed it!  The third was out.  Its lil head was resting on a stick for a while.  He is the last last one in the pic, closest to bottom.

Lisa, you are so right, just didn't watch long enough.  Is the fourth egg pipped?

She hasn't really given any good peeks, but I don't think that egg will pip.  I think that 4th egg will be the intruder egg, which was 7 days behind her last egg she laid.  It will be a miracle if it hatches!

But, maybe the longish straight line is a crack in the 4th eggshell.  Keep your fingers crossed!

Then I backed up about 5 minutes, and when MG rolled the egg, looks like a pip in the end.

MG and one gosling has jumped at N2B, and the two remaining goslings are still on nest.  I hope MG or FG continue to honk, and get them to come down.

At 1920 from RRP  "7:20: An update! The goslings jumped and we briefly saw one of the parents in the stream beneath N2B, with one gosling - probably the first jumper - trailing behind her. We're looking for the goslings below the nest."

Addendum:  "We were able to find one of the goslings and did our best to reunite it with its parents. Fingers crossed."

Looks like I missed the N2B jumping act last evening, and today the video feed is on highlights.  I found a view of 3 goslings with the parent geese on the ground under the nest.  It's best to watch the video to see them moving.  One unhatched egg is still in the nest, likely abandonded and also likely it is the one laid by the intruder goose so a week later than the ones that eventually hatched.

Congratulations to the N2B geese for a mostly successful breeding season!     :D
And many thanks to the cam ops for following this nest again.   ;D

But the shot of them on ground looks like the cam was on highlight?  Wonder if they found more than the one they were looking for.  :-\

Yes, Nora, the highlight was on.  Just guessing, but I'd say the parents found all three that jumped.  No idea of the time.  I'm sure that RRP will post a video of the whole jumping process and have the times included.

Things should be more peaceful for HM & HD to build that new N6 nest.  The single goose egg yet to hatch nearby is at N1, adopted by the piebald female and her gander.

The cam ops at Decorah have been watching a pair of geese with only one gosling around the Pond all day. Makes me wonder if this is the N2B family and only one gosling made it across the road!

HM & HD perching in bluff area trees this morning. The piebald goose at N1 is still caring for the adopted egg.  Cam ops are following the pair of geese and single gosling in the Pond area that might be the N2B family.

About 7:00, nice video of the Moon setting between the groups of Hatchery pine trees.
