Karen glad you're able to get Tru Green out--they advertize a lot back here.  You've inspired me to drink more water.  I  only drink about 40oz daily.

((Lani)) thank you for adding  her to prayer list. You figured out my query. ;D

((Tig))   :(  about your tree; it's nice to have family so close to help out, you're fortunate

Lisa awwww just look at them with mama!   Mostly 'boys' huh?    Tks for the photo.  Keep us posted esp w/ shots and all

Puff tks for posting about ATF accomodations and all.  You do a great job of keeping us in 'the know'.

KB you work so much on  your garden---it's so pretty.

Tsk
Thursday's not that far off.  Still haven't gotten my glass tops for living room furniture. I know they have lots of remodeling jobs  I bet they over booked.  :)

((Eagles)) that was some trip by car. Lots to see . Glad you had fun.

Phyl, you're welcome. I'm very sorry to hear she is not well.

Kb - No, did not.  Just not enough time for everything.

LisaG - Yeah, the long term parking tab at SF Airport caught us by surprise - but what can you do - we had to park our car! ::)  "Yikes"!

Karen - We thought of booking a room near the airport and getting a shuttle, but then, it would have all probably costed about the same.  Also, we did that once before at this airport and when we arrived back in SF, we had to call the motel/shuttle and WAIT for them to arrive and then give us a ride to the Airport, so we didn't want to do that.
Anyway, that night, it was a big effort to find the place to board the Air Tram and get to Long Term Parking (they need more signage)!  It was confusing and ALOT of walking.  I was done in - so tired.  Don't want to deal with SFO again.  I was just so glad to get into our car and head home!

Tig - You are lucky to have family to take you to the airport.  We definitely do not have anyone to call on for transportation (unless its Uber or something like that).

Tsk - Yes, we did cover a lot of ground in driving to all places between Knoxville and Memphis!  TN is a beautiful State.  We definitely see why my cousin & her hubby moved there after retiring in CA.  They have lived there for over 2 years and love it.

LisaG - Beautiful kittens!  They sure have grown since birth! :)  Hope you & Jeff are finally getting more sleep  :)

Phyl - Yes, it was a fun trip  :)   My cousin wants us to move to TN, but I don't see that happening because of my other family members here in CA.

Hi Karen  :)

Lori - Awe how sweet; Newman & Savannah - too cute!!   Love the Decorah pics!

Puff - Yum! Potato soup for dinner.  Enjoy snuggling and watching the game  :)

Lani - Hope all is good with your family  :)

Hi Clynn, OG, Baz, Blschue, Weasel  :)

Everyone have a good night / sleep well.  :)

Tsk I know that  Roodekrans nest is soooooo high up.  I think it's doubtful to ever really see a eaglet unless it's a teeny-bopper or older LOL

Karen   LOL finding every public restroom in Nashville---do they  make purse-size cans of Lysol spray?

Eagles I hear ya about staying in Cali.

Lori tks for GSB update and Decorah hatchery #2--I will always think those pin feathers hurt when pushing thru the skin.  :(

Lisa luv the look on Misty's face in that snap.

Puff haven't had potato soup since my mom died--have her receipe, should make some next fall

Guess I'm caught up.
Wishing everyone a 'Good Night'    SEDs.

some bounce
We are very blessed to have family in town that will take us and pick up from the airport.
It took us 1.5 hours to saw and break the branches into manageable size. We dropped one car full at the site and another will go Wed. I/we had a station wagon for 18 years and now a CR-V. They sure come in handy.
KB... I like your posts of late. I've just been lazy to not type and tell you. Grr.
SED all

Thanks, tig.....it IS a busy time of year here....

You two are cute  ;D :-*

{{{Clynn}}} Hugs for you, Dianna and Debbie, a big task, filled with lots of different emotions too. Welcoming Debbie with Kelsey's lasagna and your help has eased her way through this difficult process. You're a true friend, Kay's smiling.  :-* ... cute pics of Two Harbor's eaglet with the full crop ;D .... what a great pic of E22 and dad still providing.  :-*

Karen, Happy heavenly birthday to your dad....

Tsk, I wonder if it's the supplier Home Depot buys their plants from. I love Wave Petunias I never had problems with them when I bought them from Lowe's in Scottsdale or Kansas.

Kb, sweet morning pic.

Lisa, awww their first shots, and then you'll know the sex of those babies.  ;D

Tig, sorry about your tree.

Puff, I can't believe After The Fledge is almost here. Everyone will have a special one with DH2 to enjoy.

Eagles, WOW what a car trip, fun I'm sure, lots to see and enjoy, but I bet you were glad when you finally entered your home.... Did you take any photos you can share? Especially of Graceland  ;D

Karen, Can you eat the pears from your tree? I love pears.... I hope the arborist can help and you'll like your new printer.

Lori, beautiful posts of the Decorah family.

Eagles, Mike is in Louisiana this week, and Aly has covid. She was sick this weekend, which we thought was allergies, and tested positive today. I have someone coming to help her with the pets while I'm gone... I hope you have a good night's sleep tonight.

Good night!

Good Morning Beakers!

We got a lot done yesterday at Kay's, most of the main floor, which is where most of the stuff is. We have someone coming this afternoon to haul trash off and will call one of the donation places to pick up stuff when we are all done. Dianna can let them in to get the stuff since she lives next door. Erin is going to do the lower level, garage and storage room.

Lani, I chuckled when you said Kay was smiling! We were talking about her yesterday and said she was probably freaking out at what we were throwing away, especially the food stuff!  Awww, Aly has covid, dagnabit! And Mike is gone and you have your big conference coming! When it rains, it pours...

Lori, so many thanks for the pics of GSB, two hatched on the same day, WOW! Love the sweet kiss! And sweet little DH2, with a crop so full he can barely sit up!

Lisa, the little sweet kitties are so sweet, Misty is a beautiful Mom!

E4E, bet you were glad to hit your front door! Trips are wonderful, but so is getting home!

Phyl, are there two nests of Black Eagles? The one I have watched is in The Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden and there is a cam on the nest... 2 eggs in the nest. Can hardly ever see the eggs, but can see the chick after a few days old.

CROW - Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc.
Last Thursday, this infant female Nine-banded Armadillo (23-1618) was admitted from North Fort Myers after she was found alone and the finders were fearful for her safety.
Upon admission, she was quiet and emaciated. Staff removed some small ticks from her hind legs and noted a scabbed wound along her leg. Armadillos are extremely susceptible to developing sepsis from even a tiny cut so staff immediately administered antibiotics and vitamin k along with a calcium supplement. The tiny armadillo was cold upon admission so she was placed in an incubator for support.

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

HI EVERYONE

49  mostly cloudy heading to 66

KAREN    We had a Bradford pear ( city planted) on the public parkway in our first home.   This Cleveland pear was recommended by the arborist when we lost our birch tree.  It's a fast grower.   I don't see much difference in them .  Beautiful white flowers on both.

LORI   Thanks for GSB update - 2 kiddos.  ;D   That crop on DH2   :o :o :o

PUFF   Would you believe I had a hot chocolate yesterday as well  LOLOL  Ready Whip - no marshmallows  ;) ;)

LANI  ((( Aly)))  Boy that virus never gives up!!!    And now with Mike away and you leaving - What a week!

CLYNN  Saw that little armadillo yesterday.  So vulnerable.   Boy that is a real team effort at Kay's  Hugs to Erin for helping out.
