Bounce
BIL survived surgery. Thanx. We just got up to his floor and in waiting area when a family found out their patient had passed away. Tough.

Lisa - I was pretty darn accurate when i described our past drought...doesn't change the fact that in the summer I'll still need to water but still...

Am sure the Western states' drought situation has similarly improved.

Lisa nice choco covered 'biscuts' this AM; It's just lovely weather right now--- ribbon elm is budding as is our ancient willow and redbud tree is in full bloom. Roses are leafing, purple salvia is out, azalias are working on it. And, absolutely wouldn't be spring without thos blasted weeds. >:(  LOL

Hugs  {{Tsk, Tim, Barb, Tom and  of course Lulu.}} She must have missed you. And, has plenty of purrs to share.

KB Ollie will love the walks for your sacrifice clearing all that snow. Cant' go wrong with Enya.

Tig  So sad for the other family there.  :'(       Making repairs to any organ is good compaired to alternative, IMHO. Sending prayers for a full, uneventful  and speedy recovery. {{{Take care Y'all. }}}

Lani you didn't like Necco wafers---good that much more for me. LOL  ;)

Will catch up on the 10+ pages I have to read through tomorrow but wanted to let you know, I'm home as of  5 PM last night and asleep when my head hit the pillow at 8 PM  Using the walker as before,  Tim  hauled some more equipment up from the basement to keep us safer.  Surgery was about 2- 2 -1/2 hours.

Pain across my back is epic! when a change of position happens  " sit to stand" - reverse.  Side lying to sitting on the edge of the bed. and reverse.  I'm most comfortable walking so did two 5 minute walks and will continue to monitor.  Had a low BP in hospital and had me take a med to better that.  Also my Oxygen tubing often fell pretty low but was corrected. I was in a double room with a very nice lady with problems of her own.

Took 2 people always to turn me or to sit on the side of the bed. Moved rooms twice.  Very short staffed and cannot imagine what that must have been like during COVID  Then the usual - walk a certain distance, do a couple of stairs and "poop"  [TMI]
]
Thank you CLYNN for accepting the journalism job description.  And a BIG THANKS for all of your prayers and good wishes.

Whew - so glad that part is over with tsk- NEXT?  We are all on your side wishing you quick recovery, with lots of prayers for you for your backup.

Not sure if I forgot or if it was mentioned - what hospital was it?
