Ben Stoterau took a series of pics of the storm that headed towards us last night...They all were beautiful but this one struck me as the most. Just north of Redwood Falls MN to my southwest in Southern MN. Farmers gotta do what farmers gotta do.

It's Caturday!

Little bit of showers early this morning!  My gauge; .15   ;D

Tig - That is good - at least they are compensating you a little bit.

Lani - Glad you & Mike got to enjoy a few days together  :)   We have no special plans for the weekend.  I am going to make a pot of beans today and put some in the freezer in small containers.  My sister is bringing my mom over a little later for a visit. :

Kb - Such good rain you are getting!!   Just saw the amazing pic with lightening - wow!

Phyl - Like the red kites before migration - thanks for Nature!  Like your 'Caturday' - cute stuff!

Hi Tsk!

Hi Puff!

Clynn - Cute 'Caturday' gifs! ;D   Great pic of cows grazing in IA  :)

Hi Karen!

Baz  :)

LisaG - Cute gif!  Have a fun shopping trip - hope you find everything you want! :)

Oldguy - Good rain measurements for Kb!   Have a nice work day  :)

Beakers have a nice day  :)

HI EVERYONE

BL  I think you are in Alaska now right? on the 28th?

OLDGUY   What a mess for Brooklyn  :o

LANI  That kitty shelter video was unavailable. :(   All that travel has to be so wearing on Mike.  :-*  Cute snuggles in night time pic.

TIG  Good going - Never hurts to ask

KB   Such good news about your torrential rain.  Brooklyn - not so much

PHYL   funny AM pic  ;D

Morning Tsk,

The Walter Santi guy was just there and filled the bowls. I wish there was a couple of older female cats there, to help cuddle with the kittens.

Adorable Paws - Live cam and Chat on the right side  :)

Afternoon tsk, karen, baz, tig, Puff and all  :)

kb - Thanks for the link to the kitty cam.  That is a great pic of the lightning.  LOL, I have heard of goat yoga, but not llama yoga.  That should be interesting to see.

E4E - Cute morning greeting!  I did find everything we needed, and more.  ;D

oldguy - Have a good day at work.  Thanks for checking BL's posts on his date to leave.  Glad he missed all the flooding. Hope all at his homestead is ok.

clynn - Pretty Caturday greeting.  LOL, cat book clubs.  Beautiful pic of the cows grazing with the Harvest Moon in the back.

Phyl - Good Caturday funnies....can relate to, "I don't always vomit"....lol Thanks for the Nat 365.

Lani - Safe travels for Mike to Louisiana!

Sharing a pic of my sweet Sydney!

Phyl, the moon was gorgeous this morning. Looking forward to seeing the Harvest moon.... funny Caturday posts and so true. LOL!

Tsk Ryder Cup  :(

Clynn, Mike plans his trips depending on the need of the 4 company plants he overlooks... So, I have to plan our valley schedule around his... Both girls are fine. Thanks for asking.  :) Love the moon... and I'm sick of bees.

Lisa, enjoy your shopping day! ... sweet baby girl is growing, love Sydney's pic, those eyes  :-*

Kb, Llama yoga! something new everyday! LOL!  ;D ... no matter how much rain, it was needed  :) ... awesome photo of farmer trying to get as much done to his fields before the storm comes.

Oldguy, have a good day  :)

Eagles, pot of beans sounds so good, I love navy bean soup. But Mike doesn't and neither did the girls. A childhood memory for me...  :(

CLYNN   LOLOL  Cat book clubs - so funny and true   For some reason I'm thinking today is Oct.  :o :o :o
HAPPY Caturday instead

KB   Great storm photo.

EAGLES   That AM pic would make a good puzzle.

LANI   Oh those kittens are so tiny,   Don't know if I saw it on FB or where but there was a nice tour of the FFRC site and all the rooms and improvements.  Very interesting.  Cool green eye/blue eyed cat  :o   Yes, not a good year for USA in the Ryder cup.

LISA   Another darling pic of Sydney - So bright and attentive  ;D

TIG   Getting warm here now.  Got in some early walking and yard work and Tim just quit as well.

Tsk, yes, I've been keeping up with FFRC too. They have made changes since Jackie Moss left. She was there last month, and the older cats remembered her. Tears from all! And Eagles pic would make a great puzzle. I think I counted 12 cats. There probably more.

Tig take care :)

Beautiful day here!  Mid 80s with a nice breeze!  Raining pine needles and a few leaves!
Lani, most of the leaves trees piled up here are pine so no one wants to burn them!    Full of sap now and if dry they burn very hot and too fast!  Good for mulch or paper. If it was worth anything the guys who cut them up would have taken them!  😆
Clynn, love the. Black kitty in the flowers this am!  The other two were good as well!   Have to agree with u on the political comment on how the rules of a government shut down are established!  The administration has nothing to do with it! The
Lisa, you could almost drown in Sydneys eyes!  Nice you got to bjs.  We only have Sams.  There are a few new stores that are supposed to be cheaper but I do not know what they sell!  Will have to get the new  name.
Lani. I hope Mikes trip to W. Monroe goes well!   Glad the girls are doing well!
Thanks for the posts and the wonderful picture of the eagle and the squirrel! Brave one there!
Going to look up Llama exercise!

some soggy bounce

I spread the grass clippings and Camper tamped it down and then watered it. It took us another hour and a half (which is what I spent out there this a.m. too). I'm drenched. 81 degrees and 61% humidity.

I'll be happy for a cool shower in a bit and leftover pizza tonight!

Thanks Karen for answering my question, I did not know what type of wood.  :)

T40, thanks for Caturday videos... the bunny and cat  :-*... the feral kitty was our cat Milo, though he was 5 years old at the time. It took two years before he allowed a pat, a cuddle is only on his terms... the majestic Philippine Eagle and Harpy Eagle will always be a fascination for me....

Tig "soggy bounce" take care  :)

I'm going to repost a polite reminder posted by a forum member this past summer. Thank you  :-*

Thanks again, Beakers for kind words on Sydney!  :-* :-*

Lani - Mmm, navy bean soup..I want to make a pot now.

tig - Hope you didn't over-do it.

tsk - I am going to visit next Saturday, fingers crossed. Can't wait to see how big she has got.

T40 - Thanks for videos.  Love that pic!

karen - I really like BJ's, as they do have some things that Sam's doesn't, but BJ's is more expensive than Sam's.  For example...I can buy a case of Deer Park water 40 bottles at Sam's for $5.98, BJ's it is $7.49.

Have a good night, everyone!
