Howdy Beakers! HAPPY DAY!!  :)

I've been "watching" the Chiefs' game, from the back of my head, while I read and write here.  ;)  4:41 left, Kansas just had a successful challenge, and lead 17-9, at JAX. Go Chiefs!  ;D

Later, Beakers... I need to watch the end of the game now!  :)

Have a nice evening, All!  :)

karen - Did your monarch every leave your porch?

clynn - I am trying to find you the visual on that traffic pattern.  At the moment, traffic is backed up for 17 miles to cross the bridge.  I am glad I do not have to go across today!
LOL, your comments for Sydney's pic!  Hmm, I think that chart is wrong about the phone.  I stand mine up against my water glass, so I can scroll thru Facebook and the Beak, while I am eating.   ;D ;D

baz - Thank you  :-*

E4E - Aww, that is so nice that Kris lets the kids sit in the DeLorean!  Thanks for kind words on Sydney, and good luck to your grandson on his game.  Enjoy your birthday dinner!

Have a good night, everyone!

The Sydney snap---you said what I was thinking! LOL

CLynn Ugh! Squid 'mouths/beaks'  ; colorful coffee can planters;  You have triumphed over the racoons w/ your screened in deck.   ;)
Look at those sea eagles!  :-* luv the snap; awesome
Tsk  what does your rain gauge say?  Are you 'floating' yet? LOL

Lisa Sydney's 'serious look' a little gal doesn't seem too happy  about 'something'.
Why don't you/Jeff and the kitties move further into 'town'? Or closer to  B, K , S and B/L  BTW, luv today's Sydney snap
Yes. Just about everything on this pizza---used what I had on hand, after first hand rubbing olive oil on crust,  broccolli, wht. onion, sliced 'shroons, sliced blk.
olives, pepperoni/Italian  sausage, gr. bell pepper, mozzerella cheese, sliced Roma tomatoes , left over roasted garlic pasta sauce on first of course. Then when
5mins before  baking at 450F for 15-20 I drizzled  olive oil. Baking time varies so use your eye balls. LOL Sounds like a good route. Purdy BD cake 4 E4E

Lori E4E's birthday cake looks just like my 'marble cake' from Labor Day. I took two slices for us later.

KB pretty  Autumn trail

Tig what a lovely night sky you had Saturday

Lani relieved to know the bees have been spared  and relocated on their own.  Safe travels for Mike!
I'd say those are silver dollar size pancakes with strawberries and honey. But...
I can't seem to find UQ chick in those videos  :(  Bet I missed something.

Karen so true w/vintage appliances;

Bazi I think  this more feminine. Enjoy the game---hope your team wins. I still have some pizza left.

{{{E4E}}} Awwww!    Sending good wishes for a winning game for your grandson.
Tell us allll about your birthday.

LANI  Boy, Look at that stack of pancakes  ;D  At least 3 meals for me  LOL   I'd say you have licked the bee problem.  You are a very capable and practical person. ;D  Mike knows how lucky he is to have you too  ;) ;)    The list is sometimes overwhelming owning a home.   I'm a week from taking in and putting away all the yard art and disposing of all the spent porch pots.  The 3 bird baths are the last to get cleaned and put away but that is usually later in the fall.  We have 80's coming at the end of the week - Back on with the shorts and put the jeans away  LOL
Did Mike go with a colleague?

KAREN   The monarch probably flew out by now but just put your finger up to it and it will sit there while you escort to the door  ;) ;)   LOL on the phone placement at a formal table setting LOLOL

CLYNN   I found it easier to watch a YouTube vid than read my new car owner's manual  LOL   Thanks for posting Karen's funnies  ;D

EAGLES  Sounds like a wonderful day for a birthday  ;)

LISA    LOLOL  Your phone position at the table  ;D ;D ;D

PHYL   We had 2" in the gauge for about a 12 hour rain.  I was actually surprised.

Saw the new Hercule Poirot movie this afternoon- A Haunting in Venice - Pretty good altho with Agatha Christie - lots of characters to keep track of - Tim was a little lost...

The on the way out we got even more turned around.  LOL

My total was about 2 1/2"  tsk.  As you said, though, it was hard to get a clear timing of when to measure.  Mostly time started at Thursday night, then picked by up the next day and, then yesterday morning added some more.  I'm not even going into what we had yesterday.  Nothing today - Whew.

Saw flash flood warnings for the Chicago area!  The DesPlaines River overflowing ?
BL, glad to see your post.did not know where you were relative  to Lee!
Tsk, thanks for the info! This one was high up on the screen and passed the open door several times.  It was in there for a long time.  I used a catalog (small) to direct it out!   It tried to back track and finally saw the open door and flew very fast to a tree!  Thank heavens!   A butterfly whisper, I am not!
Now that Lee is gone except for the memories, There is Margo and Nigel, I think that isthe name!  May theyall stay out at sea!

Lani - Did Mike already arrive at his destination?    The plastic & stuff that was found in Maanaki's nest is disgusting - wish everyone would pick up their plastic bags, garbage, etc   It is so bad when birds & animals swallow plastic. :o ::)

LisaG - I'm looking at Sydney's solemn little face - no matter her expression, she is the sweetest little cutie!!!

Clynn - We had a harvest gold refrigerator just like the one in the picture!!

Phyl - We enjoyed going to see our Grandson's football game, and then we got to the mexican food restaurant at 5, and had a wonderful dinner.  I have had a beautiful birthday!!

Puff - Sounds like you had some good rain!

Tsk - Yeah, don't put away your shorts & sandals yet! :)    We too, are expecting warmer temps next week.  We usually get some really warm weather at end of Sept and beginning of Oct.

Beakers have a good night - SEDs  :)

some bounce
Well. Cove Point gifted us a bottle of bubbly. And as Camper took the cart back down and came back to the room he said... you have an hour to get ready. ?!??? I ran into your niece and her husband and we are meeting them for drinks. Small world. We sent a pic of the 4 of us to my brother... he couldn't believe it.

{{{Lisa}}} traffic across the bridge sounded terrible, glad you didn't have to cross it.  :)

Tsk, I'm trying to get ahead of cold nights with our potted plants. I put my shorts away too, I think it was too soon... Mike's alone on this trip, he did a lot of walking in the airport and picking up his rental car. He called when he was settled back in his room after a quick dinner. Love Hercule Poirot "A Haunting in Venice" is a good one. But, you're right about keeping track of the characters. That's what makes it a great "Who done it"  ;D I've seen all of them.

Eagles, Mike landed in Cleveland, Ohio, rented a car and drove to Avon Lake, he's settled in bed. He was exhausted.... sounds like you had a lovely day. Watching grandson's football game, Mexican food for dinner. A lovely day. Happy birthday again.  ;D

Tig, what a fun surprise for you and Camper! A bottle of the bubbly and time with your niece and hubby.  :)

Puff, sounds like you and Tsk had some rain.  :)

BL, you must have caught a great fish. Thanks for music.

Karen, glad Lee is gone, I hope the others stay away too.

SED Phyl  :)

Kb, I took lots of pics of UQ, I think watched her fledged. There's an albatross juvie that landed and is sitting in a different spot behind Manaaki's. I wish this cam had a chat roll. Lots of questions could be answered.

Good night! from a sleeping mama sloth.  ;D
