LORI   Cute banana split celebration  ;D  Think I was a child the last time I had a banana split. That is sad. ::) ::)   I've made that banana split dessert before - To die for.   You went overboard with our treats today  ;D

TIG   So easy to become dehydrated.  Good osprey rescue - Guess that is the thing about sharp claws.

KB  Bet Deputy Finnegan is happy in his job with calls like this.  To the rescue.

CLYNN   Will get some seeds ready to send.  I have tons if anyone else want them.  Drone video was good  - You are right - one house in perfect shape while everything around it is down.

Jim saw Doc this AM---xrays and such meds RX'd and darn stuff is made in China  >:(    The writing is in 'Chinese' with a sticky label for dosing in English. What happened to outsourcing to Israel ,an ally?  Anyway, Doc called this PM and said no pneumonia...But there's 'junk' in his lungs and a chest cold.
Taking two meds...one is  Methylprednisolone (made in China) the  other an antibiotic . Jim plans on going back to work this Monday and mowing the lawns---our's and Sadia's are so overgrown.   Yikes!

CLynn- great AMs today. Awwww{{{Honey}}}  No doubt you have a 'special place' for her.
Cool 'Book nook'; enjoyed  photos MLiz of SWFL. LOL 'somewhere in Montana'

Tsk- been ages since I've eaten 'Fruit Loops.

{{Tig/Camper}}- I understand about the border states and how dicey it can be... 🙏 's
envy you the swimming pool--just never got the 'nack' of swimming;  So glad you were able to get inside before too late.

Lisa- what is that in the saucer of your AMs java?

E4E-good news on sis's no more surgery. And, your Mom?

Karen-  :)

Lani- tks for the Royal update and  Manaaki's cute photo.  :-* Congrats on Mike's retirement.  How cool for your neighbor a train vaca...did one once eons ago.  ;)

OG- Q-Kids as always; Gary Busey  ::)

KB- how awesome that the lemon drops worked for you.  Just never know about some 'home remendies'. So glad for you! Sweet bear story/brave caring officer. Hope all's well

Puff- ditto Tsk on trans train vaca---you done that  ;)

Lori- Banana Split dessert cake Yum---loads of goodies today.

CLynn- tks for video of Manaaki's hovering practice---wild.

Tsk- great news from Doc and congrats !

TSK, yeah, just a minor passing "funk." Yay for you being 99%, and you can say "so long" to that doc till next year!!  :D  So, you can cut your milkweed way down, and it comes back with new shoots in the same place next spring? It grows wild, as a native plant, around the edge of some of the tree/shrub line where I live, but I don't really know anything about it except that it's great for pollinators, and Monarchs, especially. My neighbor is around 75, if I recall, and she has very attentive family in town - her highly capable and caring son, who makes sure she gets what she needs, and more, and his wife, who is a N.P. So she's well-looked after, luckily for her.

CLYNN, I don't think of "hatchback" as an old-school word at all. And, apparently, neither does "Car and Driver," because they published this slick feature article this year about the best new hatchbacks - all model 2023 and 2024 cars. That's not old-school, LOL!
https://www.caranddriver.com/features/g26594907/best-hatchbacks/

PHYL, those banana ducks are hilarious! Glad Jim got to the doc and got meds so he can get better faster.

LORI, you're killing me!  ;) ;D  Those Banana Split Day treats all look divine! Did Destini get hers?  :D

KAREN, heads up on Invest 93L!  It's going to make it's move into the Gulf of Mexico near Florida in the next couple of days, coming from down around the western Carribean/Yucatan Peninsula way, and who knows what all it will or won't turn into, or where it will or won't end up tracking for real, but right now, you and I are in its potential track - hopefully just as a very heavy rain event, but maybe wind, too, and you know... those tropical system associated sudden spin-up tornadoes are not just for fun either, so just a heads-up to stay tuned, and be prepared.

My 2-item grocery store run turned into a ditch 1 item and add 2 other items run.  ;D  And it changed my planned dinner into a chicken fajita stir-fry, with loads of extra fresh veggies added (broc, red and green bell pepp, onion, sugar snaps, zuch, mushrooms), with a small sesame oil seaweed salad first. Glash of sauvignon blanc, and I splashed some of it to sizzle in the pan at the end of the stir-fry. I love that PSH! sound it makes!  LOL.

G'night, All. Peace. SED.

How Cats Became Divine Symbols in Ancient Egypt

Felines served a useful purpose in ancient Egyptian households and were eventually associated with deities.
