T40  Cat on the treadmill - Good one.  I like the Sasse bonus   :o  That eagle eating while flying is a real multi tasker  LOL   That adorable baby laughing at Mom is the BEST. ;D   Swans reuniting  :-*       Thanks for all the links today.

KB   USAF  Great performance

PHYL   Having mac with chili is how I grew up as did Tim - maybe a Midwest thing?  Then you can top it with sour cream and grated cheese...

TIG   You're getting the puppies next week?  How long?

Tsk- not until l I moved to Missouri.  First had it at Fred and Red's diner on Main ST Joplin.  Ah yes sour cream and grated cheddar are great on chili . I esp  like the grated cheddar/American on temperature hot, chili so if just melts.

Lotsa smoke at about 15 past the hour.  At one point I felt they quickly just switched the cam view to the bluffs.  Try rewind.  Still light smoke, but mostly bad smoke is gone.

Lani - I couldn't help but be amazed at your MIL name!!  I have never said my Mother's name here, but after reading your MIL's name was Mary Alice, I have to go ahead and tell you that my Mother's name is Alice Mary (this is her birth first & middle names, which is on her driver's license)!!!

Lori - Love your congratulatory post for LisaG!!

Clynn - Thank you for posting the Bruhling's pic of Mama deer and fawn - so cute!!!

Tig - Congrats on your brother winning an Award of Excellence on his Model A!!!  Better try to take care for a while when out in the yard - just to make sure all the bees are gone.

Kb - Thank you for the vid of the Walrus Calf - so loving and just wanting to cuddle!  Wishing this special young one all the very best!!

Lani - 14 months is not long at all to have that Washer.  Hope all went well today.

LisaG - Hope you get to hold your Granddaughter soon! :)

Phyl - Cute vid of kitty and human playing at the door!

Beakers have a nice evening - sleep well - SEDs  :)

Tig, what a gorgeous truck your brother built! Congratulations to him upon winning the Award of Excellence on his Model A.... Rosie and Zeus are coming for a visit?  ;D

Kb, wonderful story about the twins and walrus. Did you finish your painting project?

Lisa, Glad to hear Sydney's parents got a good night's sleep.  ;D ....   After two hours of using a power tool, and a few knocks with a sledge hammer the transmission was loosen and replaced! YAY! I have a washer again. I had to run the washer a couple of times before washing clothes in it. ... happy to hear Sydney's tests went well. Hopefully, they were able to go home today.  :)

Clynn, the video of the two sisters and their love/friendship for each other was special and heartwarming.  :-* ... Benny's photo of the mommy deer and fawn is stunning. It almost looks like a painting.... sweet pic of the Sea Eaglets  ;D

Phyl, thanks for story on the Cheetahs being reintroduced in India.... a nice dollop of sour cream and shredded cheese on the top of Chili mac....

Tsk, under warranty and free replacement of transmission.  ;D. ... yes Chili mac and cheese a midwestern thing. It was a favorite dish of the girls, MIL and MIL's mom. We had it when Mike was out of town! Mike hates cheese, macaroni and chili, not necessarily in that order. Just some of the things on his do not eat list.

Puff, any more news of the fire or smoke from the barn?

Eagles, I love your mom's name!  ;D Washer is been repaired, it only took 4 weeks, and weeks prior of worrying about the grinding sound that would pop up and then disappear for awhile. You know how it is when you hear a noise that shouldn't be there and everyone doesn't, and they look at you like you're nuts.  ::)

BL, Love John Denver, I miss his voice...

3rd clutch for the 2023 Nesting Season

Bluebirds 2nd clutch adult CR 49 and 51   caring for 3rd clutch of the season.    Adult Mourning Dove ...(pigeon)  in willow.

CR49 has some dried meal worms ready for feeding. he left for nesting box #1 shortly after this was snapped.

3rd clutch for the 2023 Nesting Season

2nd clutch adults   CR 51 (left) and 49 of the 2023 nesting season with Male cardinal

8-3.23 12:15pm

None of the birds were very obliging.  In that they wanted to 'hold a pose' for long .  I had to act really fast  from camera first pickup to  shutter click and  move on to the
next.

Jim is due to check nesting box #1 today for hatchling's growth progress. Fledging is predicted for between  August 9th to August 17th. Hopefully, I'll have the hatchling update later .
