LISA   For that very reason I would not foster either.  Nor would I volunteer in a shelter.  I would get too attached. You did a great job and now have acquired a whole brain-ful of new knowledge  LOL

T40 - I wanted to see the Dog and the kitty in 2nd one.. :(    Funny cats and dogs - dog with cat's head in its mouth - look on cats face  LOL
Funniest - dog with stick and mission impossible music - Thought he might jump in and jump back out  LOL   How satisfying to get a fence up that fast. ;D  Very cool on how to get stuck ring off.  Great ones today - thanks

Happy Caturday Beakers

Very disappointing day for the weather - last night the forecast was for 3/4 inch of rain today - we got .08 early before sunrise and only clouds so far the rest of the day.  Now the forecast is for only a quarter of and inch starting at 10pm.  Most of the rain has gone to the north of us.  The good this in that the rain the past 2 days have cleared out our smoke issue - AQI is back to the green status at 33. ;D

Good luck OG
Good news is the knees feel great! Would have been a good rest day to read my book, but I could not stand having my glasses on. Hopefully a good sleep tonight...

What a day !
Had some mean weather just before lunch---blew my deck furniture about---whipped the 'Sam Hill' out of my potted A. daisies and  AZ. coreopsis . Poor peonies too.
The squirrels were frearless.
All this 'knocked out" my pc. By that I mean the power outage shut it off. Just now I unplugged , counted to '10' and plugged back in.
Have some  purchases to make tomorrow.    Geek Sqd. wont show until 7-11-23    7am to 7pm. So  then Jim and I must figure out an alternative method of tracking purchases and offline banking---online isn't 'current' as a PC money program.  We just cant wait or hold off on some 'things' and the CR/CD isn't suppose to be a way of life in my book. But, will have to do that for a spell.  >:( :(     Can't make sense of what I'm saying---that's okay we know.  :-* :-* :-*

Qu iclky:   Goodluck OG at crds
Lisa Agree w/you on not letting Bradley know you'll take Lizzie if thngs don't work out w/ Stewie. As someone said earlier---you'll see her at visits.
T40 tks for links-I'll check them out later
Everyone tks for Caturday posts and updates on wildlife and yourselves  Y'all should know by now---I wish you folks only the best in Life.  :-*

Sooooooo.
Gonna call it a day. Have rented  Laim Neeson's nest recent movie ' Marlow'. with Diane Kruger and Jessica lange.
Dinner?

Oh my..Ollie man is so chill and it's so peaceful 'round here.

Without my neighbors being home.

Even though the house is closed up with the tv and air conditioning on....Ollie can hear them even when I can't...

Shocking how alert he is...

wish this was our always condition...She has kids that scream outside for hours at a time, and she and other adults usually party in their drive and garage......nada tonight!

Peace.

Phyl - You had a thunder and rain storm?!  We had a lovely day over here - low 70's!  We did have precipitation & drizzle for several mornings tho!

Clynn - Thank goodness for what the Wild Heart Ranch does - as you mention, this is a critical time for Fawns and All animals with the fireworks - especially the loud, illegal booming bombs/fireworks.  I feel sorry for all the animals that are so frightened that they sometimes get hurt or worse.  A few years ago, we had a mama finch in a nest on our porch, and after the 4th (all the loud bombing, etc.),  she was gone and never came back. :'(

Tig - Maybe you just need a good night's rest, take care. {{Tig}}

Tsk - Yes, I do understand about making a trip like that! :)

Karen - Sounds like a nice time outdoors with Piper!  Weather must have been nice that you sat outside for a while. :) 8)

Lani - Thank you for all the Albatross and Sloth updates.

Kb - Wow, you have sawed some things to get rid of!!  Good for you in taking care of things.

LisaG - I knew it would be really hard on you to leave those kittens that you had taken care of since day one and then to go home without them.  My heart totally went out to you.  I'm sure you still shed tears even now.  I agree with you for not wanting to do that again.  You & Jeff gave your hearts and your very best, and the kittens were healthy and flourished, but then you had to turn them in to AC.  My heart still goes out to you.  Anyone who does what you & Jeff did doesn't get over it very quickly.  Bless you & Jeff. :-*

Oldguy - That is good the smoke cleared out with the rain.  Just wish you would have gotten a little bit more rain. :)

Phyl - Have a nice evening and enjoy the movie.  :)

Kb - Amazing how well Ollie's hearing is!!

Karen - I can't stand fireworks for how it frightens animals.

Lani -  If and when, Aly's stuff gets delivered all intact to her, then she should report them to the BBB and if she doesn't receive her things, definitely call the police.   I feel so sorry that all of you have had to deal with this nightmare.  Please let us know how this all plays out. {{Lani}}

Puff - How are you feeling?  You better be taking care! :-*

Hi Lori  :)

All have a good evening & sleep well.

Good morning Phyll and bes, krtd!  Going for a second cuppa!  Piper had breakfast and will have to go out in a few minutes!  She was good with last nights fireworks!  BestI have had.  I had tobmedicate quite a few,  no amount of cuddling, loud tv, would help!  My male tzu, Bogey, wanted to sit in the car!   Poor things.   Sat out with Piper earlier and noticed the humidity seemed higher than yesterday,
Weather is hotter than usual!   Thankfully no derechos!
