Lani, glad you won't actually be in Kansas City, I don't want to drive there! I just like it that Kansas is close to Iowa... Topeka 248 miles, Wichita 383 miles... So, so glad to hear that Aly's stuff is alive and will be delivered well, I hope! An extra charge to take it inside? Those hucksters!! Any explanation as to where they have been for the last 2 weeks? And 1-4 days, that is a big window of time!  At least there is now hope...  And your guy was there to help with your fire wising, a good thing...

Phyl, and there's Bob!  Sitting on that handsome shoulder...  You had some wild weather!  What have the Bluebirds been doing, you haven't mentioned them for a while...


Lisa, that was the best news on all the kittens having homes! That has to make you feel good! Good that you have a back-up plan for Bradley and Kelly, but I bet they will be fine. I think you really do want one of those kitties and I don't blame you. And you will see Lizzie every time you go there to babysit or visit!

BL, I think I understand, the hummers were after the red roses! That had to be scary but funny.... I think I recognize Jumbo in the picture??

E4E, I like the McDonald's $3.00 bundle, double cheeseburger and fries. I usually have that when I am driving the 8 hours to Mom's! That's my McDonald's fix!

Wild Heart Ranch - Good Morning Everyone!!! Dinner time for the fawns. This week is a critical time for the fawns. Fireworks can really stress them out so they are inside until at least after next week. -Greg

Phyl... I never went to McDonald's before marrying. Our very  infrequent trips to fast food during my childhood were to a local sub sandwich shop (Clark) or White Castle. In high school I added Burger King. Kind of like there is a rivalry between St. Paul/Mpls. and our local radio stations (KDWB for me/WDGY for Camper) folks are either a BK person or McD.

EAGLES  I'm not saying I would do it in one crack - LOLOL  5- 5 1/2 hours is enough for me ( the time for me to get to Decorah).  I.J was OK.  Never a dull moment...Had trouble understanding all the dialogue. ( maybe I'm too old)  Nice surprise ending.

BL  Funny story .  Would never have thought hummers would do that!!

LANI   Great news for Aly that the van will arrive after all.  Sure do wonder where it was all this time.  She is so smart to not have them rip her off with additional fees.  Good grief.  " Charge per foot step"     Agree that BBB should be notified.

CLYNN  Awww  all those fawns at Wild Heart.  I'm dreading the fireworks over the next 5 days.  Started around here last night and Lulu reacts.
Since I'm starting to exercise again in the basement work out area I have, this is all new to Lulu.  So she decides to help and jumps up on the table and proceeds to lay on my stomach while I'm doing some leg exercises.  So I completely understand the gardening lady's situation. 

TIG   Feel bad that the cloud of not feeling up to par is hanging over your head.  Hope today goes better.  Do you do the Eply's exercises for your vertigo?  There are a couple different ones out there.

Happy Caturday!  When I was 4 I got  a baby doll I named Henry Raymond, after my two uncles.  All 3 are long gone.  Rip!
Currently 78 going to 97!  Have spent about an hour outside with Piper.  She was strolling around the yard and I was planted in a chair on the patio. My
Exercise off the walker!  Down two steps, walk a short distance and sit!  Get up and repeat in reverse. Still Little dizzy and some weak leg muscles!
Puff, I have to laugh at you and the phone.  I found ot, srveral years ago when my neighbor, across the street died that my landline phone worked as I walked across the street and into their house! Never disconnected and I thought nothing about it until the sheriff said is that your house phone?  He was amazed! I do have a cellphone but I do not like it!  To small!
Have to get busy!  Enjoy the day!  I will.

Lani, I would contact more than the bbb re movers.  What does the contract specify?
Tig, feel better,   My favorites at Mcd are egg mcmuffin with sausage, quarter pounder with cheese and obion, no ketchup, fries and chocolate shake!   Not all at once and I have not been there for over a year!

Tsk We have no idea where her things have been. We assumed when it left the driveway that it was on its way to Oregon and would be stored there. But, it wasn't and they won't say where it's been. It may have been in AZ all this time, we just don't know.

Karen, good idea to have Piper spend some time outside, she'll get the idea.... love your memory stories.  .... you and Piper take care and have a good weekend.

Welcome Annabelle, a Keel-billed toucan! She was brought to us after being found on the street without being able to fly. She is going through rehabilitation to determine if she is a release candidate. Let us know if you catch her practicing her flying skills!

So happy the movers have communicated with you/Aly.....not trying to be a pessimist here, but I'll believe it when I sees it! ....this comes from my watching our weather predictions all summer fall apart.....teehee.

I am taking a break from outside work cause I'm a sweaty pig....caulked the shed, broke down some more of my broken chaise lounge chair for garbage can, hand sawed a piece of landscaping timber for garbage, and more....the sawing is what really did me in...and I have a table saw inside Scott's shop I'm just not comfy using and also a hand held electric saw.....oh well...I do what I'm comfortable with.

Hey, my neighbor called to say she is leaving till the 5th!..would I watch her house please....okay.
I'm just thrilled I won't have to deal with illegal fireworks at the end of my driveway not hers esp. in this 3rd year drought, nor partying!...

Good Afternoon Beakers.......Happy Caturday!!


We did a lil shopping this morning, and the 4th of July traffic is crazy here.  It took us almost an hour to get 30 minutes away! 

karen - I am glad you like the name George for Angus.  Jeff's friend has sent plenty of pics of George settling on, and he seems to be doing great.  Stop with that McDonald's order....you are making me hungry!    Hope Piper and you have a good weekend!

Phyl - I am happy about the kitties being adopted.  I like the name Henry too for Angus.  I don't want Bradley to give up so easy after adopting Lizzie, knowing Mom will take her if it don't work out.  He was just approved to work from home, so he should be able to work with Lizzie and Stewie. 

oldguy - You don't know how many tears I cried on the day I had to leave them at AC to be spay/netured, and knowing I was not bringing them home with me.  It was very hard, and that is one reason I will not be a foster again.  It broke my heart thinking they would not get adopted.  I am so grateful for everyone who has adopted them.

Lani - Thanks for the Royal and TRR updates!  Glad to hear that your help arrived, and all is done.  Fingers are crossed that Stewie and Lizzie can get along like Misty and Bandit.  Bradley said, Stewie hissed at her a few times.  I sure hope Aly reports this company to the BBB, the Attorney General of whatever state their home office is based, and leaves a bad review on YELP after they leave her stuff with her.  I would not give them a check till I know for sure it is all of my stuff, and it is ALL there. 

clynn - Yes, it does make me feel good knowing they all have homes.  I really hope Jeff's cousin is going to get Raven on Monday, cause if not...I will get her while I am dropping Misty off to see if she can be spayed.   

tig - Hope you are feeling better.
