Tsk Oh gosh no! My great Cousin Laura was a Benedictine nun (religous name Sister Irene) in the 1930s-1940s. She developed a heart illness and left to live with her mother, my great aunt Lea. Both passed since late 1980s. Though I had taken a retreat at a convent a few times.
Lisa sending good vibes for your ENT visit/tube replacdment; 'Preg-go' is the word in your house LOL Be careful. LOL
Eagles I had been selected once when in late 20s ---I got out of it in a snap. I had a prolapse mitral valve and my boss told me to go to doc and show the summons, doc wrote a short note for me to present to the presiding judge. Judge' sectretary gave me permission to have meeting in judge's chambers ---never forget that---I walked in he was busy at his desk with head down, I said 'Your Honor.' Gave my full name and said I had a doctor's excuse I wanted to present to him. He stretched his hand out and I walked up to his desk, etc. He never looked up at me until after he read the note---said 'You're excused. Thank you.' And returned to his work.
I turned , exited and handed the papers to his secretary, she made me copies and kept the originals saying 'You;'ll be removed from all future lists.'
It was a murder case and jurors were sequestered. I regret not serving.
