LANI   That is really bizarre about the albie eggs.  Too bad their cameras didn't pick up anything.  Maybe more cameras?

Tsk oh that salsa was...had to sleep sitting up. Some milk right after helped.   Tks for your comment to Lani about the stolen eggs. It reminded  me to go back and read her post.
Great pumpkin pie. I have to make one as I have
a fresh can of Reddi Whipp.   ;D   

Lani sorry I missed about the stolen  albie eggs. So sad.  Yes...Odd that the cam didn't pick a thing up. Hopefully some truth will be revealed.

Lani, I was also very shocked and sad about the stolen Albatross eggs! Who would be so cruel to do that, they evidently know nothing about the gentle Albys that lay only one egg every two years. I do hope they catch the culprits and that they do some jail time...  Thanks for the info on the Takahe, very interesting. Their head kind of resembles a turkey vulture... I would call the beautiful cat you posted last night a Cinnamon Cat!! Baby Binx, a sweetie!

E4E, didn't get to the windows yesterday, hopefully today! I don't like Beer either! I prefer rum and coke...  ;D

Lani - thanks for sleuthing out the loss of albatross eggs.....geesh, just when I think I've seen/heard it all in terms of human cruelty and stupidity....I hear this >:(

Gross winds today!...I'll wait till tomorrow to begin my hopefully final pick up of leaves in front and Thursday in back..Jacuzzi is professionally being put to bed on Friday.
However, I'm grateful for the extended time frame to get it closer to done as the leaves have been slow and prolonged to drop. At the end of the day, plenty will be left sitting matted on top of my gardens. It's always better to mulch them and I also have lots of mulch. 6 trees this year dropped on my property, I own 3.

Haircut day and cooking day even though it's going to be a gorgeous 63 degrees!

Kb, oh, I loved seeing the White Stork mate bring a blankie for his mate sitting on the eggs.  :-*  Eagle-Duck loved the White Stork and posted many pics of one or two nests from Germany. One nest was on top of a church and the cam had a view of the city... Enjoy your day today, it'll be a good one!  ;D

Clynn, love your morning Hen. LOL!!  ;D .. I thought the Takahe looked a bit like a TV and Kakapo-like body. It's a pretty thing... Love the car sign. Reminds me of driving with Mike. That's why I sit in the back. 8)

Tsk, Kb, Clynn, Eagles, Phyl Albie rangers have one Port Harbor cam across the bay that faces the Taiaroa nests. I wonder if they will add another closer to where the eggs were taken.

Home now from haircut and the wind is so ferocious!

It keeps me from having to go outside and shake my trees to drop those lingering leaves!

tomorrow will be a good day ( light wind) to pick it all up!

tsk - Saw your comment to EAGLES about the pie and had to mention....what about a "no sugar" pie?  I saw a "no sugar" apple pie in BJ's Wholesale Club this morning.

Lisa - a home made potato dish, and changed my mind from grilling steak to indoor salmon, and a multiple vegie dish.

Too windy to grill cook, but the potato dish takes time:  Just red potato sliced, onions, garlic, peppers, corn, brown sugar and spices. Salmon inside makes me avoid the ferocious wind.
