HD delivered a fish early this morning, fed some to DH2, and left the tail end for him to work on.  DH2 tried to swallow it, but could not get it down.

T40 - Thanks for the video.  DH2 sure gave it a try!  I think if that stringy piece wasn't in the way, it might have gone down.

STL - Great pics!

I kept waiting Lisa for DH2 to learn the finess of holding down food with talon.  Maybe tomorrow.  Needs another tutorial from HD or HM.

How sweet - Just heard DH2 chirp/cry out.  First for me; when did that start.  I wonder if it knows (or when it found out) that maybe, just maybe, there won't be as many readily available meals handed free for the asking henceforth.  What??  Who started that?  LOL

Few pics from today.

DH2 is almost 34 days old today. Wonder how much he/she weighs?

Little DH2 is shivering - Mom, keep me warm.  Mom is trying but somebody is just getting too big for the "brella".  Little one is really shivering without the replacement feathers.

Following our recent DE chat about D33 getting her talon painted with teal nail polish at SOAR, here are two photos from SOAR showing how it was done. The color was Revlon 590 "Trendy".

Here is a larger shot of the first photo showing how the polish was applied to D33's talon.

When was this done???  Just wondering how long it would last under normal eagle activities.  I'm thinking though it would depend on whether a base coat and/or top coat is also used.    ;D

Not to be "anti" anything, but is it determined if D33 is male or female?   Me? I feel naked if I leave the house without lips and fingers (lipstick and polish).  It goes back to when l & p could not be afforded and I wanted to be like the other pretty girls.

I'm also thinking I'm fairly certain that the local DNR was not the driving effort in the drive to polish talon - RRP fans started talking about this seasons ago; we never got anyone to volunteer to climb the tree.   :-*  (Did you notice the lips on the emoji?)
