DH2 must be the proper designation.  Sure glad parent showed up....at least 'til the down is dry.  Think that's the longest post-hatch we've ever seen!

I feel very sad that precious DH1 has died. Its presence in this nest will be missed. I just tuned in at the time DH2 was hatching. Hoping for the best for this little one.

I have to laugh at Little Survivor -
Mom gets up and his lil head pops up, waving back n forth, disappears, pops up again.  He looks tough.  I havent caught a feeding yet

Beak met beak at about 8 after the hour.  Little one said Yummmm
Keep up working on it.  It took time for HM (?) to find the right hole, and the hole had to stop bobbing.
