Sorta agree T40  My guess was about 3:45 nest time.  We ought to name it Wendy?

P

Here's an idea -How about a 2-fer?  DNF now seems like she might be in the position?  the mood?

I gotta get to the  store.  All out of milk and bananas.  Later. . .

Congratulations to HM and HD on their first egg!

Love that HD brought her a fish just after she laid the egg.  He dropped it in front of her just as he was landing on the nest edge.  Did HM eat the fish?  I lost track of it while watching HM rearrange the nest material and roll the egg into the cup where it is supposed to be.

Bunch of pics . . .  ;D

Decorah Eagles 2-25-23, 4:02 pm HD drops a fish on HM - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTJZBk80DbE

Watch the video above and you'll see HD land in the nest on his left foot, not using his wounded right foot. Maybe the fish he dropped on HM was being carried in his sore right foot. Poor guy. That talon doesn't seem to be in a hurry to heal. But HD's a gamer and did just what his instinct told him to do - feed Mama. :-\ :-*

T40 - Great catch on noticing that about how HD landed.  I noticed he has been limping still, and not so steady, so like you said, maybe his toe is taking a long time to heal.

An egg! How about that! Thanks to everyone for posting about it. Any idea of what babies will be called or is it too soon to decide?
I hope HD's foot gets better.
