Hi all! I'm ready to order my 2024 Decorah North calendar, but all I've seen is a notice that says "... coming soon." Has anyone seen anything more specific?

nanimal, sorry no better info from me about the calendar.

But a few more glorious pics from DNN this morning.  Sunrise -- I'm still figuring out what to do with all the beautiful sunrise and sunset pics!  Coyotes were singing at sunrise today.  I'm pretty sure it was coyotes.

Short nest visit from DNF with closeups, thanks to the cam ops.  A flock of juncos visited the nest right after DNF flew away -- best on rewind and a big screen to see these active little birds.

Thanks anyway, STL; I'll just keep checking for calendar information.
I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling grateful for all of your beautiful pics, and those from Lisa, Ginger, and PHYL, too!

Thanks to the camera operators who make all these pics possible!

Rainy, chilly day in the Decorah North area, and the rest of the region.  MrN had a long bath + shower in the creek starting about 9:00.  Watch on video to see him dunk each of his wings over and over.  After he flew to a creek tree for preening, there was a sub-adult perched above.  DNF appeared on the nest briefly then flew to join MrN.  See the pic with labels for who's who, next posting.

Here's DNF on the nest, then three eagles in creek trees.

The Norths have a great view from their house, don't they?

DNF brought a new stick about 8:00 this morning, followed by MrN who might have brought the corn husk he was moving from here to there.  Then they left for parts unknown -- probably shopping at Walmart.  :D

Wow!  NN  is really being put through the wind tunnel test this morning.  ???

N1 not so bad!  Surprisingly more solid.

Hang on to your feathers.

Puff, yes, it's really blowing hard and cold up there today.  And also where I live, where the good news is that most of the leaves are blowing from my yard to the neighbors.   ;D

DNF had a fish on the nest about 10:00.  MrN perched briefly on the nest then went to Love Branch about 10:45.  Hard to see in the very branchy tree behind the Love Branches, but I think it's both of them twittering at 11:00.  Maybe a loving time.

What a great shot of DNF landing, STL! As you mentioned, many thanks goes out to the cam operators, too!

No sign of activity until mid-morning today, when DNF brought in a long, skinny stick. She stayed long enough for cam op closeups, then flew back to the creek trees.

Mid-afternoon, MrN flew to a branch beyond the Love Branches, then to a lower Love Branch, just sitting.  After a bit, DNF came to the nest, also to sit.  She did some calling and appeared to be watching a flyover.  MrN left, DNF feaked her beak on the Ladder Branch, then flew away.  At a creek tree north of the Claw Tree, a young sub-adult was perching for a short time, perhaps that is what DNF was hollering about from the nest earlier.  No room here for a pic of the sunset, but unusual camera view, so check the rewind.  SEDs everybirdie.

Good morning to add to the nest.  Early, MrN broke off a stick from a creek tree and brought it to the nest.  DNF came to help or supervise.  At about 9:30AM, he broke off another stick from a deeper creek tree and flew in with it.  DNF also brought a stick, and later brought a load of leaves and grasses about 11:00.

After nothing last night - Tonight we have both D and M in the tree together for the night (after a quickie roll in the hay, as they say  :o )
