Holy Cow, I just checked a video on the chat for the Decorah North Nest, and there's video of the "Pool Party" that includes up to 6 eagles!!!   Awesome, and thanks a zillion to Tulsaducati for posting the video.

STL -- Wed. was a very fun day watching the cam.  I saw 7 eagles total (possibly including Mr. N. and DNF).  There are 6 in this pic.

Yesterday I saw 4 bathing in the stream and that does include our pair.  Your third pic from yesterday is of our pair.

Ginger, perhaps "immersion" therapy will help DNF get over being bothered by visitors to her territory!

LOVE how the cow slowly saunters into the pool party scene, stops right in front all the eagle action as if to say:  "Can you see me now"?  Apparently pauses long enough for the photo op, then slowly wanders out of scene.  What a wonderful day of eagle interactions in the North Neighborhood.  Thanks to everyone who posts photos and videos :)  They always exercise my smile muscles in big ways.

LindaBird, interactions between the cattle and the eagles are always interesting, even when they seem to ignore each other.  We have seen eagles flap at cows, especially fledgling eagles.

Pics from this morning (without cattle).  DNF worked with a large cornstalk, then MrN brought a large stick to the top of the Yonder snag, but dropped it, then spent minutes on the ground and logs nearby as if looking for it. He flew to the nest to help DNF move things for a time, then both flew away.

More to come . . .

Cam ops got some great closeups of a female house finch eating seeds from red berries, then a male pileated woodpecker on the Yonder snag and in other branches.

About 4:00, MrN brought a fish to the nest and ate all of it.  He flew to the creek for a drink and to clean up his bloody feet, then perched nearby as the camera went to IR mode for the night.

SEDs to everybirdie.  Have a great weekend.

The Norths visited their nest and brought some materials and moved others early morning. Nice closeups of a male downy woodpecker in the Perching branches right after the eagles left.  Later, closer to noon, the Norths were back on the nest when a windy rain and snow storm blew in.

Quiet day at the North's valley.  The pair did some early nest work, then mostly perching in trees at the creek. About 11:00 MrN (I think) shared the Claw Tree for a while with a sub-adult visitor.  The visitor flew away, then DNF came to the Brush Pile Tree where she stayed after MrN left.

Monday morning, back to work.  DNF overnight on Love Branch.  At daybreak MrN was perched above the nest, might have been there overnight too.  Both went to a creek tree for a while, then to the nest about 8:30.  DNF brought a long stick.

MrN ate a fish (trout) on a branch below the nest this morning about 10:00.  DNF off-camera, calling for sharing, but not this time.  Rewind to some minutes earlier for great video of at least 4 eagles chasing and soaring.

STL -- Nice pic of Mr. N. withis his fish.

Around 8:00 a.m. there was a subadult that we'd seen yesterday still hanging around.  I think one of the North's chased it off.  It spent quite awhile yesterday fishing and on its 3rd or 4th attempt it caught a nice big fish.

Before Mr. caught his fish, he did some hovering over the stream.  Here's a gif posted by Explore chat mod GABear.

And, here's a gif from GABear of Mr. N. catching his fish and swimming to shore.

Ginger, thanks for the gifs!  That older sub-adult is perching in the Brush Pile Tree this afternoon, too.

The older sub-a might have overnighted in the BPT; it was there as the daytime cam returned but no pic.  DNF brought a stick to the nest about 8:00 and stayed for a little nest arranging.  About 10:00, a red squirrel visited the nest.  Be careful! You could be invited to be lunch!

DNF and MrN spent the night at Love Branch. They were busy at the nest this morning, mostly rearranging materials already there.

Good weather for little birds, too.  A flock of house finches visited the nest; came ops got great closeups, too.  And some grackles bathing in the creek around noon.
