Ooops meant to say too, I don't know how it works with satellite tv (we're on Direct TV since this summer), but when our cable kept going up and up I called and said that was way to expensive, especially without a lot of extras, and threatened to quit them and they knocked the price way down for us.  After it worked up again I was going to try the same thing, and that's when we switched.  Did keep them for the computer though.

Well i passed that old man going to town now when i came back he was not there and he was not in the ditch!! so he made it up the hill. maybe that guy in the truck behind him helped him up that hill. thanks nora next time directv raises it price i will tell them too cause i really will be ready to dump them. been with them since the old house place too..over 20 years been with them..yes they use to have extra stuff too. use to pay like 80.00 and the had the game lounge channel that had tons of games like dominoes all kinds of games jim really liked that. it cost 5.99 so that was included in that 80.00. when we got done building this house and moved in hooked it up here too they gave us all the channels for same price for 3 months!! for staying with them..that was 9 years ago after that they dropped carrying game lounge and raised their price..now are you saying they lower the price for you but then went back up again so you dumped them? if so how long till they raised the price again? sister called she is at charlies be here in 20 minutes..

HI Jewelies!  OMG!!You should see the snow coming down!!  Guess Mother Nature didn't get the memo that I'm in SC and it's NOT SUPPOSED TO SNOW!!  lol  Big ole flakes and sticking.  Handsome was wondering what that s**t is coming from the sky!  Let me in!  lol  It this keeps up, we'll have a lot!

I know you do.  A beauty pageant.  She's running for Miss Walmira.  That's the name of their Middle School yearbook.  We're worried that if she doesn't win, she'll start crying right then and there.  lol  She's the drama queen of the family...  So, Polly is brave and is on her way... I'm glad for you.  Your animals will be thrilled to get the Christmas cookies!  They don't care what shapes their cookies are, do they?     I'm getting DirecTV for $55 a month... for now.  I wonder if they'll put the dish on top of my house or on a pole like yours...  Keep forgetting to tell you how much I laughed about you putting on your shorts when it got up to 9^o. lol  Last night the weather guy said that the best time to see those planets all lined up was at 6:45 this morning.  I was at work already and went out to see them, but I had too many clouds, too.  Darn clouds... I miss everything cool.

Hi Nora!  Thanks for the info on DirecTV.  I had cable for many years and it went up and up all the time, so I switched to Uverse.  They went up so much, I wasn't happy.  DirecTV and AT&T are the same company now, so they just decided to give me the dish and a deal.

I Don't mind comments about my age.  I will be the first to admit that I can be a GOM, A doddering idiot, a question of senility when I forget something, a complainer extraordinaire at times, etc.  But You should all remember that growing old is the finest thing in life.  Consider the alternative.

Hi Ra!! oh h e double hockey sticks no don't need your snow along with mine!! been shoveling on and off for two days!! sister got here..just had a little bit of trouble when she got to the middle of my driveway her slide light came on..a slide light? wonder if my new escape has one it just goes into 4 wheel drive auto..like old smokey better cause i put it in 4 wheel not the car. but she said she hit the gas and got to where i had shoveled it off and then hit the concrete pad where i shoveled it off and was here..parked in front of the house on the sidewalk where yes i had shoveled it off. no more snow for me!! okay now i do know what a pageant is a beauty pageant okay..hope she wins being a drama queen hey she her name is drama too!! i do hope she wins. enjoy your snow!! i hope they put your dish on a pole like me too..at the old house they put on the roof and when it snowed i had to climbed up a ladder and get on the roof. no way on earth could i do that at this house with this huge pitched roof. so was happy to see that pole. just go right out and wipe off the snow. you like the roof so just kidding you should not be on the roof tell them you want the pole. they are suppose to make you happy new customer and all!! tell them to bring back game lounge.. we got till feb 20th to see them planets so just try again tomorrow i am..i see your getting that sleet now too i got that too yesterday then huge heavy snow!!

Hi cal... Now, they're saying that the NEXT storm is coming Thursday night and then we're supposed to get 4-8 INCHES of snow!!  Oh, please let them be wrong!  lol  A slide light?  Never heard of that!  I wonder if I have one, too... but, then again... I'd rather not find out, I guess...  lol

Warmer here today with light snow. We went to our chiropractor and to the Sam's Club  down the road. We go 45 min. north to the chiropractor (known him since college) and my neck feel 100% better. Both the Sam's Clubs we go to are 45 min. from us but in completely opposite directions. Got some Dove soap with shea butter--I have dry skin--, some blueberries, kleen-x,  cat litter and cat food. Did all the hauling to the car before our adjustments.

Hey, ra, is tonight Mexican? Sounds like some icky weather headed your way, so does that mean you'll be eating in?. Better get some books from the lib.! Cal, glad you were able to let the horses out a little. Wish you could let them out a lot., I haven't looked to see the forecast for my eastern girl. Rues, you'd better get out the snow shovel and go up and help ra. I'll bet she has some snacks she's give you. Jp, you sound way younger than most people!!!!!! Yes, obsver... it was supposed to be Mexican night, but with the weather and my crud, maybe next week.  My daughter lives up on the mountain and she wanted to get there as soon as she could.  Grabbed the girls and headed up.  They always get worse weather than we do.  But... In the summer it's much cooler than it is here, so we get paid back.  lol  I have tons of books that I've never read here at home... some given me, some old ones that I bought and never read, some from the library's book sales.  I'm set for a long time!     Glad it was warmer for you and you got straightened out!  lol
