I can't remember which drug store, it's one that has lots of them, donates a flu shot to kids or people that can't afford them. I can't remember which one now. Here it is, Walgreens. Get a shot/give a shot...
https://www.walgreens.com/pharmacy/immunization/all_immunizations.jspWow Rues, sorry about Robins car/purse!! I was going to say now her new car has been broken in, but I was meaning like when people get a tiny scratch or nick and say it's broken in now, or say that with new shoes.
The Monitor-Merrimac bridge/tunnel. I
THINK I could do the tunnel because I couldn't see all the water, but that long of a bridge WOULD be a problem for me even though it's not high.
Gotta love those panda, that one with the little guy flat out on his back with his head turned is too cute.

Boy D, those little ones at Toronto don't even LOOK like pandas, but they will real soon.

That's neat about the border collie, Sasquatch.

Hi JOHOWARD! Welcome and glad you came out of lurkdom. On the left side of the puzzles you can change the shape of the pieces if you hadn't discovered it, go with what you have fun with

Hi Willi, are you going to dress up Henry for Halloween?
Well yesterday wasn't real fun. Joe & I got up to Gundersen in LaCrosse at 6:50 AM (takes about an hour and a half) for his rotator cuff repair. Here's how the day went. I'm glad it happened when it did and not at home. It's a great hospital and neither of us like Mayo (an hour away) and our little one is going downhill. Decorah is about 25 miles, they aren't bad.
THURSDAY: Well we, left home at 5:15 and got there about 6:45. Drizzling all the way and dark on those curvy roads, thankfully no deer. Now remember, all his preop tests including heart were good. They took him into surgery and after a bit I got "put in a little room" for the doctor to talk to me and he had estimated surgery at about 1 1/2 hours. It wasn't near that. He said "I had the knife in my hand all ready to make the incision and anesthesia said no". I guess while administering the anesthesia his EKG started looking abnormal. Ok, NO surgery. They took him down to ER because it's faster doing tests down there and he had an angiogram and his right artery (coronary I think) was totally clogged. They took him up to the Cath Lab and got that taken care of. The left one is partially clogged, but they wanted to get the one causing the problem done right away. He will have to have that one done. So, he's up in the Cardiac Care Unit. He may come home Saturday or Sunday. If there are any changes or news I'll add an update on this post. The Ortho doctor told me if there is even a question with the heart like happened this time he won't do the surgery, no sense risking life for a limb. As far as hospitals he is in a good one, so that was good. It seemed like his shoulder had been bothering him a lot more recently and the cardiologist said some of the extra pain recently could have been from that. He never had any chest pain and it can radiate to shoulders and other places. She said it will be interesting to see if some of that other pain is gone now that this problem got fixed. So that was our day.
That neighbor couple we get together with are great. Mark loves taking Sparky out so when he found out Joe was supposed to go up for surgery he volunteered immediately to watch him so we didn't have to worry. I mean some people are nice and say "sure I can do it", be he actually starts sounding enthused and his eyes light up
I stopped by there on the way home to fill them in the rest of the way on Joe and she offered me supper, but after leaving that early this morning I just wanted to come home and sit down. More later when there is anything..........
FRIDAY UPDATE: Joe called about 9:15 and sounded real chipper this morning. The doctor went over everything with him and if I understand it right he actually has three more blockages that will need stents. I knew about the one besides the one the fixed, but not the other two. She did say that usually they are in groups. He will probably get those taken care of in the next couple months. Probably, one never really knows, he'll be in the hospital yet until Sunday. Have a good day all......
P.S. If he can pee he MIGHT come home tomorrow.
