hi obsver!  My daughter brought sausage dip with tortilla scoops for me when she brought the girls here!  Oh, I love sausage dip!!  So good!!  If I hadn't had lasagna in the oven, I would have had that for supper!  I have lots of treats left!  What would you like?  Some Sweetos?  Flavored popcorn?  Trail mix?  Cheetos?  lol   A turkey with a ham inside... interesting?  Would that be a hurkey?  lol

I see most of our teams won today, KState, WV, Clemson... I didn't see if Navy won though.  Did they, JP?

cal... Is your vole as big as a hamster?  Does he live by himself??  There is a groundhog that lives down the road from me.  When I drive by, he usually runs into the culvert under the road.  Never see more than one though...

HI Ra!! lol a hurkey..not enough to kill a turkey got to throw a pig in there too..navy got beat by houston cougars 52-31 cougars must be a good team they are 11-1 navy good too they are 9-2.. my kstate took out them poor jayhawks big 45-14 not an exciting game poor jayhawks everyone took them out they are 0-12 kstate 5-6 not a great year for sure..but the Royals won the world series!!

Hi Rues!! i missed keeping up last week and maybe the week before so i set my vcr awhile ago and was watching the clock for 7pm checked my program guide to see which keeping up was on and it is not on!! stupid pledge drive....grrr show all the people who give money for the british comedies so run your pledge during the day not saturday night when the brits are on!!! me and sister was sitting at the kitchen table playing our game for a little bit..jim comes home makes himself another big plate of food..your right ra hardly any thing left over..me and sister trying to concentrate on our game and jim eat like one of the dogs..noisy as can be..shut your mouth when you chew buddy so he is chomping away done and then he burbs really loud and then he farted louder than the girls..rocked the house..oh geeez i am so lucky..then he got up and went to his room...thank you jim...

Maybe I'm thinking of a shrew, not a vole.  Ra, I'll take any snack you have EXCEPT Cheetos, malt balls or licorish (sp?)

obsver... You don't like LICORICE??  I thought everyone like licorice!  Sorry, malt balls are all gone, too!  lol   I have plenty for you... popcorn?  Got some good flavors here.

cal... You have just reinforced why I like living alone!  lol  Ewww!  lol  I didn't know Kansas was having such a rotten season.  Guess KState didn't have to work too hard today then...  lol

Birds, Bear Claw Marks - UPDATE November 28, 2015

White-breasted nuthatch next to bear claw marksJust a day at the desk. Out the window, beautiful sun highlighted a white-breasted nuthatch next to bear claw marks on the dead white pine that Lily Fans topped a month or so ago to keep it from falling on the WRI cabin. A red-breasted nuthatch sat on one of the branches to show how it differs from a white-breasted nuthatch.

Red-breasted nuthatch

Thank you for all you do.

How goes it JP?

Cal -- "...and then he burbs really loud and then he farted louder than the girls....."  Isn't that supposed to be a sign of a satisfying meal?  ;)

Cal, that puzzle gave me a headache! But I got it done! :D  You cooked a big turkey! I have never cooked a big bird like that! I don't think I could! I have a hard enough time just touching the small turkey breast that I always fix! How awful for you to have to do that. Had to laugh at Jim and his noises! Crow is quite the noisemaker himself! One particular noise always scares Molly and she runs to the basement! It wasn't the burp or belch! :D My PBS is on pledge break again, too. Thankfully they leave my Sat morning Brit Coms alone! Yesterday Daisy got a boy toy to make Onslow jealous! She borrowed him from Rose ( the Rose we don't like)! Hope the girls can get out today! It's been drizzling here all morning. Wish it would just rain and get it over with!

Jp, I usually lose a post once a week! That'll so annoying. Hope you have a nice day with some sunshine and an ocean breeze!

Obsver, you don't like Cheetos, malt balls or licorice? Oh my gosh, I love them all!  :D I also love potato chips and  tortilla chips with salsa as long as the salsa isn't spicy hot! You got some nice things on your shopping trip! I'm not familiar with Carsons but I know Tractor Supply and Kohl's! I've never heard of that turkey ham combo! Was it good?

Ra, would love to have a muffin and a slice of fresh baked bread, please! What kind of muffins? That lasagna sounds good, too! All this food talk has made me hungry! Think I'll eat an Oreo! :D

No nora it is a sign that jim farts louder than my horses..all three of them together and little sweets!! And it stunk to high heaven and he left leaving that smell for me and my sister..holding our noses and gagging..

Hi Rues! i told jim and sister that was my last thanksgiving dinner. sister can eat at her job and jim could go with his mom and dad over to his uncle's house..he don't want to do that but i am done..told miss i will be going with you next year to black friday!! she said be here at 2 pm!! omg i just love that keeping up you got to see!! that one is so funny!! oh wait the rose we don't like..i really don't like that rose..you must be watching season one. after that she is gone and the good rose is there. raining hard here news said day 4 of 5..one more day of this junk..i got my barn all cleaned out jim did empty the buckets for me..had to fill them up 8 times that is 3 buckets 8 times..he would not go in the area with the girls said rose doesn't like me she has her ears down and when i talk to her she lays down even farther..she does too..sweets runs from him..soda can't see him..roxie knows him though..working in here trying to catch up on my paper work..
