6;47  cloudy but warm at 76.  Lawn sprinklers woke me up. I think it has rained some, but not enough to trigger rain sensor I guess.  Sounds like you are ready for bad weather, Cal.  I hope it goes around you.
Still need to get morning stuff started.  So CUL EV1 GBU

5:20 Not too bad for me.  Thanks Cal for posting.  Especially that beautiful black cat.  He would make any witch happy.  Let Ra and Rues know we miss them.  Ask them what they think of the bear moderator termination.  Now the GSB Falcon Cam is kind of out.  No live action.  So no sunrise or panning of the river and lock area.  The TV cam is often not working.   I feel like there are holes in my life.  I can rarely find the bears, and can never identify them.
Good Sunday morning EV1.  Nice morning here.  Coolish, but AC has been running a little.  Temps are supposed to drop they say, and that suits me fine.
Did not see Karen or anyone yesterday.  Did not do much except watch the Olympic trials and some golf. I love the track and field trials, because I can follow the standings better than some of the other events.  I did peek at the MLB game on channel 8, but it was not our local team.  If it were, I would have watched the whole game. Our Cleveland Indians are really having a good season for their new manager.  He will think he has landed the easiest job in baseball.
It is Sunday, so no soapbox this morning.  I will go see Bonnie later.  Karen is always busy on Sunday, so I will not hear from her. Debbie says she is going grocery shopping.  So I will avoid her today.  She hates to shop. LOL
Bye for now EV1 GBU, Israel,Ukraine, and all who are suffering.

8:11 I am distracted this morning.  Very cool out.  Will be taking a ride in the Country today.  I need to get started packing cold stuff for the ride.  May be bringing back some cold cuts and cheese and bakery.
I see the bears and racoons have had their way with the snowman.
Now I will say CUL EV1 GBU, Israel, Ukraine, and those in need.

5:49 Just about average.  Nice out today.  69 at 9:17.
Did have a nice ride in the country yesterday.  Went to all the good old Amish Country sites I remember from years past.  Plus several new ones.  I started with Lehman's Hardware. Where I was very disappointed to see that the political pricing to hurt Biden was in full swing. One little bag of pretzels cost $14.  A small bottle of soda pop was $ 5.00.  This same soda costs only $2.00 at Hershberger's.  The next time I go to Amish Country I will avoid Lehman's.
I have watched the growth of the commercialism in this area of Ohio for a long time.  Some of the original sites have not changed at all.  Others though have changed dramatically.  For example Boyd and Wurthman restaurant in Berlin is essentially unchanged. On the other hand, Hershberger's on the road to Charm started out years ago as a little stand where you could buy some fry pies and bread until they ran out.  Today it is a huge place with acres  just for parking, and many acres of animal contacting areas as as well as a several huge marketing buildings.  They have buggy rides, a huge petting barn, and walking trails for petting and viewing all sorts of farm animals.
I especially like the huge horse and goat barn.  You can buy an edible cone of pellets for the goats.  You put your cone on this conveyor to the roof of the barn where the goats are waiting for it.  They grab it and eat it right away.  The goats have their own stairway to the roof.  They are good climbers.  Even the smaller ones.
What a good experience overall. I have wanted to do this for years.  It is what Joan and I did every Summer, and I missed it.  It was like she were still with me.  Very nice.
I did manage to bring back some fresh homemade bread for Mary, and some Summer Sausage for Matt.  I also bought too many tarts and fry pies.  I got some nice peaches, cheeses, meats, and bread for me too.  I went through Trail Ohio where everyone, like me, was surprised to learn that Trail Bologna was named for this little one horse town in Ohio instead of some arduous pioneering excursion across the prairie.  Google it. LOL
Well it is another nice day here.  I need to get started to go get some hard to find Trulicity.  Drug mart called me while I was driving around down South yesterday.

So I will say CUL EV1 GBU, Israel, Ukraine (our congress really hurt them so sad), and all those who are suffering.

sorry Cal to scratch open all your goat aches for Sweets. God bless him.  He is better I believe and Joan is petting him for us.
I don't quit buying pop. I just went to another store where they think like me, and don't come back.  Good Bye Lehman's Hardware.  In the rearview mirror!
Hello Hershberger's with the right (Democrat) prices and all the friendly animals.
Just popped in to check emails.  Still need to go get mail and medicine.
It is almost 1pm now.  So I guess I will have some good Amish bread for lunch first.  It will have Amish cheese and, kind of Amish, Trail Bologna on it with some mustard, mayo, and catchup. Might be toasted and just warmed a little in the microwave to melt the cheese.  There will be cheese tarts too.
Bye Now,   GBU my friends.
