Family, Bears, Nature, A Good Combination - UPDATE July 2, 2021

On this nice weather day, it was good to be with family and bears in nature. Daughter Kate and Granddaughter Veronica joined Donna and me for a good day. Guy joined us after my not seeing him for years until the last couple days. It was like he was never gone. He was immediately his calm, sweet self. Now noticeably older than the last time I saw him, his head is sprinkled with white hairs but nothing like Shadow who is 10 to 14 years older at 34. Guy has never been one to intrude upon mothers with cubs. True to form, he took orders from 3-year-old mother-of-two Chloe when she told him to keep his distance.

Two new mothers with cubs joined us in the last two days and we’re still trying to narrow down who they are. One of the cubs looked so nice on a branch today that I couldn’t help but click. It was the same with Valentine whose eyes looked thoughtful.

Out on the water with Donna, Kate, and Veronica, it was nice to see familiar wildlife. Looking forward to the first course that starts on the 5th.
Thank you for all you do.
