Hope everyone is having a nice Christmas! We definitely got a white one! We got between 5 and 6 inches. Thankfully it was the light fluffy stuff. Was able to brush it off the sidewalk and porch with a broom. It was really cold out even with the sun shining a little today. We did something different this holiday. Instead of eating at 1 we ate at 3. I like the later time and think that's what we'll be doing for now on. We all liked our presents. I was surprised when I saw there was a book under the tree for me!
Robin got me Barack Obama's book A Promised Land. It's a thick one and may take me awhile to read! Lol! She also got me a heated throw! Never heard of such a thing. If it will keep me warm, I'll love it! She asked for an old fashioned record player! Of course Santa brought her one. I told her that her Fisher Price record player was up in the attic but she preferred a newer one. Crow took the player home for her and got it set up. You remember the 45 spindle adapter? Robin didn't know what it was for! Crow had to tell her! Lol!
Cal, so happy that your Boo is back home where he should be! It will take time but he will adapt and not even miss the leg. When Molly was on all her meds, I found that pieces of hot dog were a good way to hide them! Our Boo would eat anything we gave him. So pills were no problem. Glad that you got Polly's car all sorted out. One less thing to worry about. Can't believe you are making rolls! I have a bread machine that I haven't used in years. I keep saying I'm going to donate it to Goodwill. Love the horses in the snow greeting!
Ra, wow, you got snow!! When was the last time you remember getting snow? Do you even have a snow shovel? Lol! We didn't get above 20 today. Brrr! I think it's supposed to warm up by Sunday. I hope so. I don't like it to be cold.
Jo, are you still full from dinner? I am! I was channel surfing earlier and saw that Paddington Bear was on. I've never watched him! I definitely know the lord of Downton Abbey! Hope you had a nice day with your family.
Nora, love Chester and Astrid's greeting! Hope they had a fun snow ball fight! Lol!
Lupe, caramels are one of my favorite candies! I am addicted to the milk chocolate covered caramels with sea salt that are sold at Sam's Club! Chocolate covered cherries are another favorite. We always got a box from Santa. I could live on candy, cake and ice cream!
Stay safe and take care!
