Not sure if this has been posted yet here, but the North American Falconers Association posted this yesterday on their Facebook page.  It's an article from June 2009 about finding a Falcon nest in Greenland that is 2,500 years old.  Pretty interesting!

More bizarre news from Pennsylvania - Eagle nest cam operator PixController accuses former staffer of creating ghost employee position

The lawsuit will not stop the two webcams, which are located along the Monongahela River in Hays and the Allegheny River in Harmar, from rolling as the two pairs of eagles enter another nesting season, according to PixController CEO Bill Powers.

Wow!  T40, that story is truly cray-cray!!!  I can't believe criminal charges haven't been brought yet!  Though I noted there is a criminal investigation in progress.  That's really too bad the company suffered so much malicious financial, physical property, and electronic/file/storage damage, but you have to wonder about any company hiring someone to run the whole financial side of a business and apparently not doing a thorough background check, or even verify the work/responsibilities represented by the person hired... At least from that news report it sounds to me like there was a major lapse in that regard.  Bet that company uses a different process when they hire in the future!!!
