baz - didn't the peregrine or other raptors? inspire the air force in developing their jets? or longer ago?
I don't know. But, I did notice at the Raptor Center several prior air force vets working there.
Like an affinity of some sort.

Egg On My Face :-[

Not sure if I don't know my numbers or if I don't know how to type (key).

Your answer to my post Lani didn't sound familiar or make sense.   ???

My fault totally - NOT  87 but  89 / 89A

Starts out at the boarder and passes some great areas, great parks.  Finishes off up at the north border (Mexico, AZ, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, UT, WY, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Montana, Canada.

Not a one week trip!  Not only one trip either.   ;D  Remember I'm a mountain girl.  Spent a lot  of time discovering the West

Senality setting in???

P

Hi Puff, Oh, you're talking about 89A, well that's an 2 hour drive from Payson > driving on 260 going northwest to Cottonwood turning right onto 89A, that takes you pass Sedona > Flagstaff and beyond. It's a beautiful drive, especially during the fall.  ;D

KB,

I think this link is what you refer to in comparing the peregrine and stealth aircraft.

Lani, thanks for the information about your beautiful area, I want to get in the car and come see you! The drive is beautiful!  I'll ask Mom if we ever went up to Payson when we lived at Luke AFB. I know we went to several National Parks, I'll bet Tonto was one of them! Mom and Dad liked to get away for the weekend now and then and it was much cooler up in the mountains!

Lori, oh those goodies look so good and the bunnies are so cute!! Hope you and Destini are doing well! This pic is for you!

How about this goody? I don't think this town is very far from you!

The Pork Tenderloin From Bents Smokehouse And Pub In Iowa Is So Big, It Could Feed An Entire Family
Is there any more iconic Iowa food than a huge pork tenderloin sandwich? Sometimes they're pounded so flat that they resemble a hubcap more than a food item. But there's one place in the small town of Westgate (population 191) that takes it to another level. Bents Smokehouse & Pub is all about "big food," including massive barbecue platters that will satisfy even the heartiest appetite. But when I took one look at this massive pork tenderloin in Iowa, I was blown away. Bents Smokehouse really takes it to the next level, and this sandwich can easily feed quite a few people.

And that picture from FB made me think of the Wabash Valley Farm Services building in Grayville, IL (close to Albion)!

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

This Friday Habitat for Humanity will arrive to take Jim's brand new  40ft extension ladder as a donation. I told them their choice---for sale or use on their many
housing projects.

KB like you we rescue cardinals from the squirrel feeder's glass jar. They go nutz when we walk up to it and then when we seperate the jar dro the wooden holder

Good Evening Beakers

Yesterday afternoon was not your typical weather for here...  The center of rotation for the thunderstorms was very near to here - the storm cells were tightly wrapped with them circling the city for awhile - most cells were less than 15 miles wide, so rainfall was very different across town.  On the northside of Iowa City, they got almost nothing - in my area we got .12 inches - downtown got 1/2 inch and the east side of the river by the airport got 1.2 inches - Coralville ranged from .5 to .75 inches.  Today was mostly cloudy this morning and then partly cloudy this afternoon with a high of 77.  Back into the 80s for the weekend and no expected rain for a week.

Hi Beakers!!!  ok just a couple more bunnies post for today... they are spoiled just like our fur and feather babies!  ;D  A Fluffle... thank you Clynn I learned something new today  :-*
For those who asked, my Grandma is doing OK.  Now she has a UTI.  ::) ((Grandma)) I admire her strength. She is doing the best she can. Comforting prayers continue... I want to see her and give her a hug. I'm hoping for one glimpse in her eyes that shows she remembers me.  If not, that's ok too. Thank you for all the prayers and special messages from all of you.  :-*
Hugs & prayers for all of my sweet beaker friends. Love ya!  Good night.
