Happy Birthday Penny!  Good to see you and very hard to believe you are 4 already!
Good pictures of Sydney and the kids!  Truly look a likes!  Love the fluffle!   Cute little animals!   Think I have some in the front azalea bushes  but rarely see them!
Loved the drive from Mesa to Peyson!  Pretty.  Every area has a different kind of beauty!  Lol, some more than  others!
Tsk, love the piazza party for the 91 year old priest!  We are all getting older! Tge challenges of aging are interesting if not somewhat frustrating!  Tsk, the shots in my back last from a day to months and I can get them 5  times a year!   Am over due now and am not walking well at the moment!  They hurt going in an thus I delay getting them!   Darn arthritis!   Had two of them before=I left the home  and nothing since so they did well!
68 degrees here this am and highs in the mid yo low 80s  thru Friday week!  Good!  Hope no more 90s!
A favorite Fall memory of mine was walking in downtown Evanston, Il on a Bright, sunny Saturday, with an abundance of multi colored leaves under foot! They would be crunchy! There would be a faint smell of someone burning them in the distance and the sound of tge marching band coming from NorthWestern University!  What a great day!   The only thing to come close was a Fall day in Santa Fe with a crisp. Sunny Day with the red Chillis in wild display and the scent of pinon in the air!    Nothing like it here!

Love the picture of sleeping Sydney ,  thanks Clynn!

Going to have some of Loris cookies from yesterday with. Cuppa!

CLYNN   What a cute pic of Sydney and Talon.  Thanks for posting Lisa and Sydney and Bradley

LISA   Good turn out about 25-30 - food was excellent - They did separate checks - WOW  Brought home most of my pizza for Tim  LOL  Tried the usual - pepperoni with onion and green olives but added bacon!  Loved it.  Great Grandma pic  ;D

KB  What a sweet AM pic of bear and baby getting a big squeeze which he may or may not have liked  LOL    Creative tree art  ;)

KAREN   When I had 2 sets of back injections earlier this year - they numbed the area and I didn't feel a thing.   Nice fall memory of crunchy leaves in Evanston.

Bearstudy -   An Unusual Interaction - UPDATE September 27, 2023

https://www.bearstudy.org/updates/daily-updates/4813-an-unusual-interaction-update-september-27-2023.html

A couple weeks ago Carolyn photographed a non-clan adult female interacting with a blue jay in a way I’ve never seen. Finding the jay at the bear’s feeding spot, the bear sniffed with eyes and ears focused on the jay. The bear went ahead with eating the sunflower seeds she came for. The jay, instead of moving away, sat tight. Carolyn said the bear even moved closer to the bird’s side. The chipmunk that appeared briefly paid little attention to the situation. It filled its cheeks and hurried off to its hole to store the food for winter. Carolyn discovered that a bear and a chipmunk were not enough to scare the blue jay, but when she moved closer, the jay flew away. Her pictures tell the story.

Thank you for all you do,

Good morning Beakers!
Morning Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tsk, Lisa, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eagles, Kb, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, Jilltosa, BL, Eburg, Weasel, Ezee, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Omasawyer, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

Karen, The Mesa to Payson video captured the changes of the landscape the higher the elevation, especially from Fountain Hills onward. Also, on the right, you passed what the landscape now looks like after the 2020 Bush fires as you pass Bush highway and continued to Mt Ord (the 2021 fire) as well as fire on the left 2021 and this summer we had two fires going southbound to the valley. But at the high elevation of Mt Ord (7,100)you will see less saguaro cacti and more thick juniper pines, oak trees and such. Also, before you get to Bush Highway turnoff, which is just a few minutes from Fountain Hills, is the Salt River Wild Horse rescue on the right. You'll see a few beautiful wild horses scattered on the right from that point and beyond Bush Highway turn off. As you continue driving the winding curves of the highway after you pass the Bush Highway, you will see rocks and small canyons below. Eagles, Red Tail Hawks, TV, can be seen. The curving part of the highway either north or south of 87 that is the most dangerous to drive, especially during rain or snow. Mike lost control and totaled his car a few years ago this coming fall. Lots of accidents occur every year, and there was a couple yesterday. That's why we keep AZ511 app on our iphones. They alert drivers to a possible closure because of fire, accidents and weather conditions for traveling SR87 north or southbound. But, it is a lovely ride, especially when you finally see the blue sky is so close and green trees.  ;D

Hi Eagles  ;D

Tsk, sounds like a nice pizza evening with your pastor. Yummy pizza  ;D

Kb, love the mama bear and cub pic!  :-* ... oh my, well if you've got the time to do a leaf raking artistry that is a gorgeous project!

Hi Lisa lovely pic of a Sydney's beautiful grandma, doting son/father and her precious little self! You should frame this photo.  :-*

Clynn, awww Talon's day with his mom! That's a wonderful pic, Talon has Sydney's eyes, the love is just glowing over their faces! ;D.  .... look a little closer in last night pics, there's more than one bear.  ;D ... poor Keebler he's looking so deprived of food. LOL! ... what a beautiful puzzle of the Sea Eaglets. Gosh, they've grown.  ;D

Phyl, I remember the cuplets, Magic rocks didn't work, Freshen up gum was delicious! Thanks for nature vid....

Lori, Oh my, thank you for posting Miss Penny pics for Lilbro! She has grown into a little beauty! That pic with grandpa Lilbro and brother! LOL!!  ;D

Hi Lilbro, wonderful to see Penny pics, I bet she's full of energy and adventure! And she still loves her cowboy boots!  ;D ... I pray your son is feeling better. And you and Jani are able to find free time to do a little fishing. We miss you.

some bounce
Great posts all... thanx
Hi LilBro  !

One of my tasks today - to repair and reinforce the edging along the raspberries that was pushed out of alignment by the heavy snow.

BTW... the first nurse tried unsuccessfully, twice, to start an I.V. in my right hand/arm. A different nurse came in and was able to get one started in my left arm. Sigh.

Resting now, before going out to mow.

LANI   What an amazing shot of the big burly bear and the teeny jay  :-*    What a shame that such a beautiful drive could also be dangerous.

TIG  Has that IV ever been a problem before?  Ouch  Black and blue today?   Raspberry project well done!!  Good before and after.  Love your hydrangea color.  Do you have to make the soil more acidic or basic to maintain the color?

KAREN  Get that walker and bubble wrap out and don't fall!!!  Are you still getting your HHA?

sore bounce
TSK... no, no problems with I.V. B4. And no bruises. I don't do anything to the hydrangeas. That plant's blossoms go from white to very dark pink over the two months or so.
Sore tonight
I made meatballs and esquites for dinner. Yum. My own take... corn, sour cream, cream cheese, mayo, chili powder.
