Morning pics from Decorah - HD on nest, HM above N2B - she left there with a stick and headed back to N1, HD watching a stick that had fledged, and HM on top of trees across the farm

HD has been working on carcasses this morning.  About 10:00, on a branch above N1, he had the leftover remains of the rabbit from yesterday or before -- grayish fur.  Then about 11:00 he brought a partial carcass of something frozen to the nest then the Y where he ate at it until dropping the last two big chunks.  Could have been the skinned out rabbit, but not a fish.  HM was watching from a T1 branch for part of the time.

Lisa you asked me about snow where I live -- none at this time.  We have wildly see-sawing temperatures though, 30s to 70s and back to 30s in a day or two. How many layers should I wear to go out, always a good question.  ;)

STL - Great pics!

Your temps sound a lil like mine.  We haven't seen any snow this winter yet, but it has rained more this winter than it had all summer.

From rewind - HM to the nest about 5.5 hours ago, lays down for a bit, then moves to side branch
