Good Evening Beakers

tig - Sounds like you had a nice day of wildlife, too.

Lani - Thanks for the Sloth TV update and pic.  Isn't it weird how only a handful of us are having problems posting in the Beak?  I have a lil routine on what to do with my post after I type it up, so I don't keep getting frustrated. Congrats to Shannon on her new title!!!

Phyl - I will take all the kitties!  Just call me CRAZY cat lady  ;D ;D  Love the Happy Wednesday greeting.

BrokenLug - Yes, Skin So Soft, Natures Miracle...very close!  ROFL!  I hope I never need the skunk odor remover!

tsk - Beautiful butterfly greeting this morning.

clynn - Pretty colorful flowers this morning.  I hope Ed is feeling a lil better.  How cool that Y8 was released near you!

Lori - Waving at ya!!

karen - The AC is on for cat man!  $20K for sod  :o

Evening Hall we just had a lovely thunderstorm pass through and drop some much-needed rain on my grass seed and some new plants. I hope there’s more this evening and it’s supposed to be raining off and on for a couple of weeks. I still can’t turn the sprinkler system back to just three days a week so maybe well I said the side with $20,000 I didn’t say she bought it lol she determining what kind of said she wants to put down. I think we’re both end up spending close to $20,000 for the water to get to see going off lol OL.
AQI is 33!

Beo, I forgot about skin so soft but you’re absolutely correct. That is miraculously, a great bug repellent. I’m going to have to find an Avon lady and get a container of it to keep around five evenings out on the patio.
I hope you and Antham are both feeling better, and the nursing duties haven’t taken too much out of task and  cLynn!

Lisa, posting in the big is a real challenge. You never know when he gets you typing weather is going to post or not. I guess I don’t have anything much to say in here that makes a difference, one way or the other lol OL.

Good morning post to been great night. Enjoy the pictures the flowers this morning and Phil pH whyl’s Our scenes are wonderful and I and create a great way to start The day!
Call paste

CROW posted an article about a burn hour they just took in. The poor little guy had a broken wing which they have pinned and sutured the injured area where the bone was broken after cleaning it out. They also gave him a laser heat treatment which oddly enough I had used for my dog bogey. I think I’m gonna find out if I can get it from my back anyway. The bone should heal in 3 to 4 weeks following which they’ll put the little guy in a flight room to exercise him and get him used to flying and will then release them back to the Wilde. They said that it’s very dangerous for these birds living in South Florida as their search for pray for seven danger of hitting wires and being hit by cars and also there’s a lot of rat poison using used in the area which of course does, Them in.

Going to sign off now and wish you all a good evening and look forward to seeing you in the morning

Bounce

Gentle hugs to all...

I just had to watch tennis at 4 a.m. I was on the lake by 9, but no fish. But... The adult BE overflew me. I also saw a pair of blue heron fly from shore. And. A. Huge. Turtle. BTW.... I'm getting the hang of getting the pontoon off the dock and through the shallow narrows. This morning I let loose the lines, walked the boat halfway back, then set my rollator onboard and followed. I now know just how far to trim the motor and avoid the hazards. Fun stuff.
Now, I rest and hydrate, while Camper hunts wildlife with his long glass.
TTFN

Tig can you take that pontoon boat from the Girl into Women Lk by water as in is it possible to do so ?
Hows the smoke been up there by you ?
How are the biting bugs at this time of year up there ?

So many questions I know, but as having been a boy canoeing on Boy Lake many moons ago ?   8)

What fish species are you targeting in the am  _   whatever catches my hook and tastes good on this newfangled BBQ.   :)

If I have your location correct it does look a little 'tight' on the in and out from your dock into the Girl if the water is low.

In a 22 foot? Bennington pontoon boat with a 115hp Yamaha 4 Stroke Motor .. giddy up and you go girl on the Girl Lk right quick to the catch.  8)

I know you know your way around lakes, boats & fishing Captain Tig so I hope the fish find you and your BBQ.   :-*

TSK... Yes. And Camper beat me at Scrabble yesterday. He is proud.  :-*

BL... Yes, we took a ride tonight down to the "bottom" of Girl, thru the No Wake zone and into Broadwater Bay. The clouds threatened a bit so we headed back... watching beaver, muskrat, loon, etc. About 8 years ago we took the Pine Ridge fishing boat down into Woman and circumnavigated Horseshoe Island. Our first year, about 9 yrs. ago, we stayed at Woman Lake Lodge. I needed to navigate a rock jetty to get to Little Woman and Child lakes. I did not have luck. But, one day while I pulled up anchor, something rolled at it! It got my heart started. I think it was a muskie.
Tomorrow I'll be hunting bass. There is a slot limit on northern pike. I kept a 24" some years ago. Oh... Maybe that is the picture you shared. ?

Did I mention? The friends from the old resort are stopping by tomorrow with some cleaned, frozen and fresh bass for me?!?? They will tour the cavernous abode and then we will head into town for a treat at Frostys. https://www.facebook.com/frostysinlongville/

Clynn, Love the SOAR rescue and release story of Y8. She looks feisty! I bet she was saying a lot.... ;D ... sorry Ed is not feeling well... a thunderstorm went over our area last night. Everything smelled fresh this morning... Lots of leaves and brush to clear.... love the pic of the Big Bear eaglets! And of course Iris on her owl pole... awwww Winnie and her 4 beautiful eggs.... cool pic of the 5 mountains.. reminds me of Lord of the Rings... So far Dewey and Aly have been sleeping late... but when they walk together I'll take a pic. Sadie and I went to the park in the rain this morning... Mike is doing fine, he's been very busy with Zoom meetings. I think he leaves for Houston next week, but no firm plans yet... great pics of the cactus relocations here in AZ. It's an amazing process.

Lisa, yes, we're very happy to have Aly and Little Dewey with us. They'll be here for a few weeks. I'll share moving and job details later.  Which means when she knows we will know. LOL!  ;)

Tsk, Dewey did very well on the plane for his first plane ride and he did fit under the seat... yes, Shannon is doing real estate too. :) ... I hope Tim is okay today, especially after his fall yesterday.

Tig, Looking forward to pics.

Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, the 365 always gives me a few moments of peace in the mornings!  Love the morning pic!  55 here now, high 78 today.

Lani, so happy to hear that Mike can work in Zoom meetings, I am sure it saves from traveling so much! A good thing that Dewey didn't mind the plane ride! Becky & Jennnifer's cats don't mind the 3-day car ride when they go to Mom's!  I think Cathy and Steve are going later this month and B&J are leaving Saturday or Sunday for Mom's I was wondering to myself how many times will we go to Albion when Mom is gone... Loved the video of the little sloth teasing the bigger one - just like kids! Skin-So-Soft was the main bug repellant back in our childhood years! And I don't remember any sunscreen products at all. Just Coppertone suntan lotion. We added iodine to baby oil, that was our instant tan... ::). Beautiful shot of the owl's eye. Oh, I think karen's tipsy typing lady meant to say barn owl.

tig, sounds like you are having a great time! Your friends from the old rental miss you! So nice of them to bring you fish!

karen, big sale going on at Avon today! Not only do they have the Skin-So-Soft original, but they also have a new Bug spray (I bet it is Skin-So-Soft in disguise...)  https://www.avon.com/ Thanks for the story on the owl, I hope he will be okay! Your typing lady was a bit tipsy yesterday, LOLOL!

tsk, don't ask me how I knew what karen said... I guess I am used to sometimes trying to understand what Kelsey is saying... I can interpret sometimes, but sometimes I have to ask Ed what she is saying...

Lisa, I would help you take in all the cats...

New picture of the Munchkins loving Summer...

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

some bounce

I went out in 46 degree weather and fog this morning at 5:30. I fished for 2 hours with no bite. Next time I'll need to get live bait. Sigh. Not enough time left this trip, what with weather coming today and tomorrow. I made it in and docked all by myself. Yay. Now, time to regroup with some hot chocolate, yogurt and tennis.  ;D

Just a glitch this AM  Did reboot my computer and all seems OK

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CLYNN'S ERIN

TIG  Have a fun day with your old resort friends  :D  I love Scrabble!!  Used to play with a friend on line for several years but she passed away about 2 years ago now.  You have certainly gotten used to that pontoon boat in a short time.  I've never fished with anything other than live-bait. :-*

LANI   Sunning close-up of the great horned owl eye feathers.  :o

PHYL  We have Tim's follow-upo at Urgent care in a few minutes.

CLYNN   As usual bright and cheery AM pics  :D   Nice to hear Cathy and Steve will make the trip to see MOM.  Cute pics of the munchkins  ;D
