Another fan of the crimson maple commented on it last week KB - an electrician.  And it didn't even have leaves yet.  This week though the seed coverings burst open and fell all over Stevens Street. Darien.  Things were covered with yellow seed skins - driveway, sidewalks, neighbors sons's car.   Michael does not like the tree - especially in the fall when the shedding is of giant leaves.  Also had a friend out from Morton's Arboretum - he's going to plant some things for me in the yard, but he took time to tell me what a "regal" body my tree had.   And here I was worried about damage left by last year's cicada.

P

Puff you have a lovely looking home there in Darien.

And that Crimson Maple is looking none to shabby either.   :)

Happy Caturday Beakers!
Good morning Tsk, Karen, Clynn, Lisa, Paulie, Eagles4, Baz, Phyl, Lori, Kb, Tig, Oldguy, Puff, BL, Ezee, Eburg, Weasel, Jilltosa, Eaglesrock, Emyrauld, Blschue, Peep, Jaspurr, Lindy, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Nrstooge, jicaji, LB, and All!

{{{Karen}}} wonderful informative post this morning.  ;D.. You've been busy, so glad shots are helping and you feel better... It will be nice to have Aly and Dewey home for a bit. We miss the girls. Our life is even more quiet since both girls have moved out of the state... love the typing lady.  ;D

Clynn, Love Sophie, Sam and Harley's pics this morning. They are gorgeous! Beautiful faces. It's great to see the boys hanging together. YAY Harley!  ;D The lilacs are gorgeous, I can smell them from here. I'm so sad for Iris, as I am for Mrs T. I always check on her several times a day. I know she didn't leave her egg yesterday for food... there's a male osprey she kept begging fish from, and it wasn't Louis. Though he did come to bother her.... The Hellgate FB chatters have been at each other this past two weeks. The oldtimers are bossy and there is one that doesn't like Iris and makes unnecessary comments as if Iris is the hussy in Star/Louis relationship. That is an hilarious comment!  I don't add to the noise.... I may not go there to read anymore. I'll continue to follow Dr. Greene's Montana Osprey FB.

Tsk, Has Barb and Tom Returned? continued prayers for Tim's health.  :) ... and you the busy beaver, don't over do this weekend.  ;D

BL, Love the Caturday videos... the turtle on the skateboard is a riot! LOL! And no, the cat does like it... Cat on the rails  ;D ... love the cows enjoying the freedom of being outside... The great American Eagle! .. I cheated and read the posts that followed the video...  Binturong aka bearcat and what a creature it is. It's huge, love the tail...

Kb, great videos this morning, glad the sea turtles are making a comeback.

Tig, Congrats!

KAREN  Those were not my lilacs  ;) ;)   We love the typing lady's way with words.  LOL

BL   That was what you call "eagle take-out" or " eat and fly"  LOLOL   Honestly do not know that critter - an amalgam of sorts.
Loved the turtle and kitty  LOL   That was an example of cows heaven!

KB  that cat laying below the swing and rocking it cracked me up!

LANI   Barb and Tom were back on Apr 23.   She got her veggies in the ground 2 days ago  LOL  I hope we are passing on a garden this year.  I don't want to do all the work.  LOL.   No outside work today - instead went to Kohls to redeem my coupon and found that I needed a new card - What?   Seems Kohls never sent it but was able to complete my discount.  I called them and ordered my new one.  sigh.

Good Afternoon Beakers....Happy Caturday!!

tsk - Thanks for the prayers for Bradley.  Your leftovers last evening sound good.

tig - Nice looking lunch.

oldguy - Thanks for all the videos.  I saw some regulars were asking about ATF in the hatch fundraiser yesterday.

Lani - Thank you for the prayers for Bradley.  Oh good, Aly will be with you soon.  So far today, I have seen a squirrel and fish brought in for TE3.  Mrs T is a good provider.   Pretty good night pic last evening.

karen - Good to hear that you think the shots in the arms may be helping.  You and Piper need a lil nap later, since you got up early.  Your typing lady has a way with words.  ;D

clynn - Love all your kitty pics this morning!  I was telling karen yesterday, that I am probably going to do the same ole, same ole...Vinca's!  I love them so much.  I do love that last fence/flower bed pic.  I have seen that on Pinterest.  :D

BL - I just want to cookie...no guesses on critter from me.  ;D

Phyl - Hope you and Jim are feeling good.

tig - Love that quote from, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Puff - Afternoon  :)

kb - Painting all done?

Lisa - yes painting is done and all put away....it sure is nice to have a fresh coat of paint on ceilings and walls

Next up is I'm carpet shampooing with my new lighter carpet cleaner...

Also next week Andrew will replace a fixed fence wall with a tall swinging gate so he can drop soil on my top tier garden which has eroded over time....probably 25 feet or so of top garden tier?...then he's laying mulch in front for me, fixing my window boxes, er um replacing rotten wood, and maybe? bring me 11 feet of boulders to act as a fence along my property line....we shall see. He came yesterday for the full consult....Thursday next week might be the day Ollie will need to be locked inside.

I don't have any furniture put on my decks yet mid to late May I'm having them re-sealed. I will clean them first...

Report from PHYL   Her Chrome Brower shuts down every window within a couple seconds so she can't get anywhere.  Geek Squad coming on the 7th to fix whatever.  I will go back and ask her if she has another browser  to try...Also Maggie not doing well  Had to vet for the usual blood work etc.  Waiting...

LISA   I'm doing a lot of zinnias this year - rabbit proof and last forever into fall with lots of color.

KB   So do you like your paint color decision?   Lots of upkeep every year with a home.  You are very organized in getting it done.

BAZI    Hope Lil sis and LGNs family will send you some pics of their time together.  ;D
