Good afternoon, Beakers!  :)

(((Jim and Phyl)))

My Lil Sis went with her daughter and son-in-law and my LGN and her Baby Bro to Park City, UT, for a fun Spring ski trip over the last several days. A good time was had by all, and they are on their way home again.

Guess what? I'm starving!   ;)  Gotta go fix that!  :D

Lots of folks in line for some possibly severe weather!
Stay alert, and stay safe, All!  :-*

Ho hum... Forum is acting up again...   ;)

The Iceland eruption is much small than the last 3-4 events.  The fissure length is short and volume is low.  It is much closer to the town - will have to see how long the event continues, to see where the lava flows to.
This is a 3.5 hour of live drone footage from today.

Kilauea also is in action - episode 16 began about 10:30pm  HST last night, with large fountains about 12 hours later.

TSK... He had me use a machine like this while using a heating pad on my lower back to get my heart rate up.
   https://hcifitness.com/collections/recumbent-cross-trainers/products/physiostep-lxt-700-recumbent-cross-trainer-with-swivel-seat?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwna6_BhCbARIsALId2Z3292rqUMdgDZEDRisq-ONMh1PnfMwNgNgy-WOL0r44t30OiHBQcF0aAjvkEALw_wcB

Then, he did deep tissue massage on my back, followed by my usual exercises. He added a new one... Reaching forward while standing at a counter and extending the opposite leg... to strengthen my core.

I sure felt it when I got home. A hot chocolate with a little something in it felt good. 😁

Lani, good college basketball article from today. It’s about what you and I had been talking about recently, related to the impact on the game of the transfer portal and NIL, and the fallout of all that being felt by the coaches. Excellent reporting on the subject with thoughts from some coaches from big college basketball programs. It’s definitely worth reading to the end. The latter part of the article has some eye-popping numbers of amounts earned by some players via NIL, and a brand new income sharing rule currently under consideration. Pretty crazy.

Clynn, love your morning pics! Full of color and joyful!! {{{Iris}}} it's raining at Hellgate tonight. I wonder if Iris will know that's a different fish pole when she gets her first catch to eat on it.... that looks like a difficult puzzle.... Beautiful pic of the Norwich Peregrines and Big Bear Eagle Family with full pantry...  :-*

{{{Prayers and good wishes Jim, Phyl Miss Maggie}}} I pray Jim will be home by the weekend...  RE: the Wild Birds Photos...Love the GHO with eaglets taken in Phoenix photo. And the Roadrunner with Lizard. It's an amazing shot, considering how quickly roadrunners move.... beautiful crocus in today's nature video. I wish I had a yard covered with them.

Oldguy, thanks for volcano update.

Hi Lori, Happy April!  ;D

{{{Tig}}} glad you're better and sounds like you've had a great pt and workout plan.

Tsk, TRR has quite a few parrots more than 4, I tried to capture more but they moved a lot...  ;D  as well as Toucans and other beautiful critters.

Lisa, beautiful Easter eggs... we have a cold front going through our area too. Furnace is back on.

Kb, very good April Fool's pic  ;D

Baz, Forum is still having its moments....Beware of Practical Yolkers!  ;D.. what wonderful pics of your family on their ski trip! Lil Bro and Big Sis look ready for the slopes!!  ;D ... thanks fo the Basketball article. I've sent it to Mike and I'll give it a careful read. I was just reading a couple of Jayhawk news... We have 5 KU players entering the Portal, two for more money per their father's influence....  :-\ I don't see how they can get more money considering the awful year they've had. LOL! Bill Self has a couple good Freshmen coming, but he's having a hard time dealing with the portal... Now, that money is in play, college basketball will never be the same... geez  :-\  SED and take care.

Good night!

About 5:45 a big thunder storm moved through here.  Good old fashion boomer.  Lightening that lights up the whole room.

TIG   Funny kids going for a ride with Camper  ;D   Out for some winter pics it looks like.

PHYL    Back in the 70s it seemed popular to have a ficus.  Mine went to the ceiling!   Such a rough time for you and Jim  HUGS
Sure wish we had bluebirds in our backyard.

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, it will be interesting to see if Iris notices the new fish pole! The nest looks so flat and lonely, can't wait to see it all fluffed up! Safe travels Iris (she might be on her way right now!)! I have a few hyacinths that come up every year, I don't see them yet...

Phyl, good that they are keeping Jim for a bit, but not good that you don't feel well. Sorry to hear that you have a cold and are feeling lousy. Hope you can get some rest and feel better soon. Get some chicken soup! Lovely 365, the birds and the beautiful scenery in the background!

baz, great pics of the kids, they look ready to hit the slopes! Love the Practical Yolkers! I forgot to celebrate April Fool's Day!

tsk, I had to laugh at the thought of burying you with an unfinished puzzle! LOLOL! Yes, Ed does all the laundry, Kelsey helps him! It's only because I hate to go down there and pass through the Mole Hole. I really need for him to go somewhere for a week so I can clean some stuff out! Yes about the Ficus! I think that one is the Fiddle Leaf Fig (ficus lyrata). I had plants everywhere back then, lots of macrame hangers and decor!

Lisa, what beautifully decorated eggs!  I heard on the news somewhere that the price of eggs is coming down. Haven't seen any evidence yet...
