Good Morning Beakers

kb - There is a lady that lives in my brother's subdivision that does the same thing with her cat.  If I did that with mine, they would never want to come inside.

Lani - Hope Mike is feeling a lil better.

clynn - Love your pretty good morning flowers. Have found so many pretty Easter eggs on Pinterest.  :)

Phyl - Prayers for you and Jim.  Get well soon, both of you.

tsk, karen, Puff, tig and all - Morning  :)

Quick trip to do a few errands....catch up a lil later.

In 27  years I haven't seen that before either on my walks with Ollie or seeing them from inside.

Funny to me was the cat didn't act "cat like" but rather followed the couple just like a dog would...no stopping and keeping up with it's hoomans.

Wonder how long they walked? I mean as far as Ollie and I do?...or as long as it's hoomans wanted to?

What about you all?...just a block or so or almost a mile?

Howdy-do Beakers!  :)

**

** Not a Potoo  8)

(((Phyl and Jim))), I'm glad to hear the storms only messed with your internet and no damage or major flooding at your place. Rest up, and fingers crossed Jim comes home tomorrow, and that you both will feel better and better.  :)

BL, loved the bluebirds snuggle you sent to Phyl!  :)

Lani, I loved all your short videos!!  The ice cream man delivering to the loveable and very happy dogs was great!!  :-*  LOLOL on the cockatiels "riding along in an automobile!" LOL! Those cockatiels were making great use of the procedure masks!! So funny! They were loving it!  :D The dog and the hen were having a ball playing Peek-a-boo - or maybe it was "Tag." LOL!! They definitely were good play buddies, and no doublt that's a game they like to play often. Loved the last part, too!  ;D :-* :-*

Karen, enjoy your busy day of errands, and getting out and about... Piper going with?? I have a feeling drive-up window doggie snacks are going to happen.  ;) :D :-*

Clynn, thanks for the cam screen shot of the FSV Eagles nest - WOO HOO on the 2 hatches! 2 more to go! Good update screen shot of the Big Bear eaglets, too! I am waiting patiently for Iris's return at Hellgate!  :-* Talons crossed she is safe on her journey, despite weather that may slow her return, and that she is not very far away now and thinking of her return to her nest, and hopefully her great mate from last year will be there soon, too... I can't say his name right now, pooh. I was thinking though... doesn't the male osprey in a bonded pair usually return to the nest first, and waits on the female? Or do I have that backwards? I know that only 1 year with a mate does not make for a cemented pair bonding for the future, but I hope it will happen for Iris.  :-* :-* Great pics of Ed's niece's family!

This must be errand-running day - many Beakers are busy with such today, it seems, and I am getting ready to follow suit.
  :D

Take care, All!

Kb - Pip and I had Spot Henry the Dumpster Kitty that adopted us down in the Keys.
He was living out of the dumpster behind a seafood joint. We pulled in to do a Chinese fire drill driver swap and he jumped right into the pickup and wouldn't get out. We went into the seafood place and asked them if anyone owned this cute little guy ?
They just grinned and said nope he's all yours if you want him.
OK_well this is his spot I guess and we dub you Henry the Dumpster Kitty.   ;D
Pip was a vet tech and she figured he was no more than a year old by his teeth. He lived with us in the keys for a few years and moved back to NJ with us when we did. This guy was a true wild child to put it mildly.   :o
For 19 solid years swinging from the chandeliers this cat of extraordinary character did reside with us, and by reside with us he roamed with us as well.

We would take him on miles long day hikes on a leash.
He loved it.
It didn't tucker him out either .. we would get back home and he would still have the energy to destroy something.   ;)   :o

OG here's a map of Isle Royale of your Greenstone Ridge Trail hike back in 1974.
I whipped it up in QGIS just for S#**'s and giggles.   ;D

I hope it doesn't bring back any bad foot pain memories.   ;)

Wow, bl - that's something.
and tsk - my guess is this is the more likely scenario.

Guessing it depends on the cat, and/or how young one starts with this kind of adventure.

Just took down 1 of 2 rabbit fencing. The one up front is now gone. Yes, I'm pushing spring, but surprised how easily the stake poles came up....
Will do the back one covering climbing roses soon.

There is plenty of grass, even dead grass to eat wabbits now. and I don't see heavy snow in the forecast.

As you all know I had 2 cats and at some point the addition of Walter my dog...My cats were strictly indoor cats, never to walk the outside.....hmm.

These 3 retrievers wait hours for the ice cream man. He does not disappoint! :) :)

Boy, I can't wait to bag up all the sticks/bark etc. in my back yard. Still too wet. But, guessing by Sunday...

That was the route - but as my feet were getting very sore by the last day, we headed towards point 6 for the shortcut to the boat instead of hiking to the end of the island.  ::)

Just came back from a trip across the bridge, and the traffic was not as bad as I thought it would be at 3pm on a Friday.  I went to Home Depot for an additional trash can.  They town keeps telling is the the trash people are going to provide us with one, but that has been going on for two years now.

Phyl - Glad to hear that Jim is coming home.  I hope he takes it easy, and rests.

BL - LOL!   Spot Henry looks like my Misty!  He might be her brother, from another Mother  ;D

kb - Awww, the doggies got their pup cups!

baz - I have a set of dinner dishes exactly like the white bowl.

clynn - Thanks!  Aww, FSV twins!
