PHYL  But you're still supposed to do your exercises, right?   And I always thought musk rat was one word  LOLOL
What a good catch on the mockingbird and bluebird Dads  :)

TIG   Gosh, I would think the warm pool water would be helpful to your back.  Too bad you can't get there.   :(

LANI   Big albie girl is right  LOL  The big green basket now and 2 guys on this weigh-in.  ;)

KB   Depends on how much you want your walls to be noticed.  I'd do first swatch in greens. ;) ;)

thanks all....appreciate it.

I'm getting my ceiling done this week. Walls next week, so I have more days to sit and stare and imagine.

As i stated I'm leaning green and I'll ask my painter this week too.

We too have light yellow in our dining room kitchen and hall and the taupe/beige/tan or whatever in large bedroom downstairs and both bedrooms upstairs.

I'm leaning towards more color. Frankly, I'm tired of the grey and taupe and said so at Hirshfields yesterday. She said: Yah someone who likes color, me too....They promote the greys/beiges she said cause Minnesotans don't like color.

I like to be a bit of a renegade myself. The second row of either side is my choice. lighter but still color.

Thanks again.

tsk - thanks...now I get it. The walls will recede a little the lighter you go. I don't have that great of furniture, so I want the walls to pop a bit frankly. got it.

kb as an interior painter for a few years we hated getting asked "what color should I pick".

We would give a very polite wishy washy non-committal answer.

We take the paint out of the can and spread it around on the walls lady.    ;)   :-*

We never wanted to get the call after the paint was dry ..
We don't like this color and you recommended we pick color A .. well now we want color B.

If you now want color B we can make an appointment and come back and repaint the room for slightly less $$$ than color A absolutely.

All the prep work is already done (70 % of a good painting job), but not 70% < $$$ for coming back to re-paint the room.    ;D

BL - I hear ya. But my painter is special. I literally grew up with him in my house. Not to mention he's a supreme artist. Spent Monday all day with him already. He's cool and has a good eye.

If it wasn't him, wouldn't ask them.

He fiberglassed huge life sized moose, 8 of them....sold. Worked for Disney etc.....supreme artist who needs the money and has painted many houses.

I would NOT ask an opinion from anyone else...I can't put words to the talent of this guy.

Wish I could find a pic of his Moose and post.....you'd be impressed.

tsk - thanks. yes, an option....for sure.

Here is my painter's moose: He makes them in his studio/garage at his house on the same creek I grew up on.
He's made 8 of them, sold 7...people in his city don't want him to sell his last one as they enjoy driving by and seeing it. Fiberglass monsters.

BTW. I'm convinced if I could find the older Jeep groups here that commiserate about everything Jeep I'd find my problem.....I no longer know these types of people. I grew up with them, but they are gone.

at least I have a painter I trust...

It's for sale for $12,000.00 I hear!...hopefully no one will take a shot at it!

People love it too much me thinks.

He just sold his 1920 something vehicle...he had to drop off the certified title etc. He's a unique guy.

BTW, my son has come around already to see the value of my Jeep....speaking about music upgrades etc. LOL
I know him well. But have to put up with some hyperbole for a few days first. Whew.

No doubt kb there's some old school Jeep head out there that knows exactly what's going on with Nellie.

Now Chris just needs to reach out and find him/her on a Jeep forum somewhere.    8)

12 Grand, hmm, I think I'm going to have to stick with my garden gnome. LOL.

KB   Very handsome moose!!!   Isn't there someway you can put it out there - maybe in your neighborhood FB page - you're looking for a Jeep "club"  on a FB page for Jeep fans?  Can't think of the word for it - special interest??
I do believe BL has it - a Jeep forum!!!

BL  Garden gnome  LOLOL

tsk - good idea.....jeep forum probably the closest idea. But who knows, I am persistent. thinking of walking to the very nearby Land rover place...they rehab very old ones and everyone loves to see them from the street. One block away. Just gotta keep looking/asking.

BL - LOL yeah I can't afford the moose either....If I recall boards, city governments, and the like have previously purchased them. Organizations like that.

KB - one of the major users of old jeeps are the off road vehicle groups - they prefer jeeps that are over 20 years old and do minor to extensive modifications to them.  They know these vehicles inside out as they mostly do their own repairs.  I am sure that there are many in the Twin Cities.  Members of these groups would know a local specialist mechanic that would have some fresh ideas. The areas that they utilize are called OHV parks.

On the wall paint - have you considered 3 walls with the light shades of either green or blue and then the 4th wall a brighter accent wall with a color than can harmonize with the other walls.
