Got a new battery for my watch today and believe I located the clock I want alarm type at Walmart it has everything in big digital letters and also flashes the time on the ceiling so you can lay in bed and look at the time lol OL they say it’s for the elderly and those with dementia. Ha ha ha.

Karen do you also have a good weather alert radio in your home/bedroom ?

They make models that not only have the audio alarm (very loud) ...

Also an accessory external strobe light to alert people visually.

There's even a external "pillow shaker" accessory for heavy sleepers.

Lani I double checked on that 24 hour temperature change in Kansas from the other day.
On 03/18/25 @ 4:52 pm CDT it was 87°
On 03/19/25 @ 4:52 pm CDT it was 39°

~ EDIT to add ~ The temp actually dropped - 56 ° in less than 24 hrs at Dodge City, KA.
From 87° on 3/18 4:52 pm to 31° on 3/19 8:52 am.  :o    :o   :o
And that's how one gets severe weather outbreaks in Kansas in March.  ::)

The weather station that reported the - 48 ° 24 hr temp change (° F ambient) was located at the Dodge City Regional Airport.

You know .. for getting out of Dodge ..  ;)   :D

That's a good thing because it's most likely an accurate reading as opposed to a "Joe Blow's" weather station.  8)

Have a chill Bird Day,tsk

Interesting on these new toilets....mine is a Kohler 19 incher..I need to get used to the new oval bigger seat. I "feel" like I might fall in!....temporary feeling I'm sure I'll get used to. Consequently the base of the bowl sticks out further into the room, thereby making my previous long rug not work....Oh well, I'll either cut out the rug for the bowl, or just use a different rug. The flushing thing is different too.

You all probably have newer toilets than my first stab at it, but it will take some getting used to, LOL.

Have to time my grilling of steak today to dodge the raindrops...

LISA   Beautiful AM pic  ;D  The computer probably won't get set up til June.  My niece works at the high school so in June will work only 4 days a week.

TIG  You certainly have some might nice looking treats  ;D

The greatest thing about spring other than waking to bird songs is to be outdoors cutting my roses and being serenaded by our resident cardinal  ;D

tsk - faster flush unless you hold it down....less water in the tank and handle is behind a big self closing toilet seat to name a few.
