I'm guessing maybe Amy has been doing some maintenance work on Forum, based on some things I've seen happening here - like my avatar going blank again - it does every year when she does Forum maintenance. So I will get that fixed back with my avatar pic in a bit. But that might explain some of the Forum kinks people have been experiencing the last few days.  ;) :)

Thanks, Amy!! for all you do for RRP, and all who enjoy the many RRP resources!  :) :-*

OK - agree on the 4:47 spashdown.  Other quoted time was for about 3:37 for live following of return vessel ala NASA.

Howdy Beakers!  :D

TSK, I love Harp! But I also love Guiness Draught! I guess it was appropriate then that a fellow I dated, back when, turned me on to Half-and Half - half Guiness and half Harp. We made it the old fashioned way - pouring both beers into one glass. It's usually layered, so it makes a pretty picture when first poured. Of course you can buy a beer now that's actually named Half and Half. But that's cheating, and takes away the fun of the layering during the pour.  :D

BL, your Bushmill's shot sounds yum - a tradition!  :D  I used to go to an Irish bar every St. Patrick's Day, and would always have a shot, or two,   8) of Jameson's Irish Whiskey, before I found my way back out the door.  ;) ;D

Oldguy, yum on your fried rice!  I love it too... the real thing, that is. A lot of places make what I call "fake fried rice." LOL. Family histories are so interesting, and fun, to learn about!

Clynn, oh no, sorry to hear Bella is sick, an dI hope she is back in the pink again soon - with a double helping of mac and cheese!  :-*

Lani, I think Amy has been doing Forum maintenance, best I can guess, from some things I have seen. So I'm thinking that is how your post was "disappeared."  :o Love seeing the sweet Albie chick "in the mist."  :-*

Tig, a group of tennis players and the Tennis Players Association, have sued some tennis associations - news today, if you want to check into it. I haven't looked at all the details - I just saw a blurb about it on TV. Hot tub sounds good to me!

Waving to Karen, Lori, Paulie, Phyl, Lisa, KB, Puff, and ALL the Beakers in Forum, and the Bakers on the Farm!  ;D :-*

Love my avatar, baz.  Whenever the subject comes up I'm reminded of Thinking Woman.  It was hers - she gave me OK to use it about 2012.  Beautiful Lady, so sweet, did you ever meet her?  Almost the same as yours, see?.

UPDATED!! Had incorrect info!

The referenced photo of the horses on the beach IS NOT REAL, per TSK, it is AI-generated!! per her reading and looking more closely, and per info in her related post about that below. Thanks, TSK![/b]

Karen shared this link with me, and so I'm sharing it here - of the wild horses on Assateague Island, VA - not too far from Lisa's stomping ground!  :D  It has some really good info about them! Like the wild horses on several other barrier islands of the VA, NC, and SC coast, they are just gorgeous, and incredible animals. Incredible histories! Some of the wild horses on some of the barrier islands have starved and died from illness or injury in the past. Sadly. Most of the barrier islands with the wild horses have programs now to provide additional food during tough times to prevent starvation, and to assess if vet care is needed to treat illness or injury. It has been a contentious topic from time to time, over the past 4 or 5 decades that I have followed some of them. They are just something else to see in the photos, and even more so to see in person, if you ever have the chance.  :)

The picture is not real - it is AI-generated - on that public FB page of some of those wild horses on Assateague Island, VA, looking like they are in the sand by the surf, alongside nearby people doing the same. NOT REAL!  :P

P.S. I am not a FB member, and no login is required to view this FB page - Just "X" out of the popup sign-in page, and you will see the informative post. Then you can scroll down from there to see that FAKE PHOTO of the horses on the beach by the people sunbathing by the surf! That is NOT a real photo - it is AI-generated.

Here's that link. Thanks, Karen!  :) :-*

Puff, no I never got to Decorah, and so never had the pleasure of meeting Thinking Woman, though we did do some PMs back and forth a long time ago. I remember that avatar of hers - a great shot of Mom Decorah! Just beautiful! So nice of her to share it with you. She was a special lady.  :)

LANI  More confirmation that SST is a little "chubby" albie    Cool technique for misting the chicks.
Interesting that your Mom also was a nanny and moved with the family - WOW

TIG   So what did you decide for your Perkins breakfast? ;) ;)

BAZI    Thanks for the landing info - I see another source is Space.com    Thanks for Karen's link - comment on FB say the phot is AI generated.  Back leg on back horse is all wrong so they say.  " Horses on the Island do not look like that " says another.

If that's the case perhaps Amy forgot to give us  heads up. No matter---we've been here long enough to the 'skinny'. IMHO

On the splash down FNC has said about 4:45 - 4:57 CST or later. I'll start watching  about 3:30pm CST.At any rate "The Five' could be pre-empted.
Jim is  excited about watching this ...we're both crazy about space travel.

Lani- nothing to be done about the knees save for replacing the joints.  I have a lifetime of spills and falls  on them due to various reasons , people
etc., etc.  Tks for the Royal Albies Report. Gosh  RLK /A85  and SST have grown. I doubt I'll ever get the names straight.

Puff- I remember 'Thinking Woman' a gentle lady. She was still in Beak when I joined. Good news on your avatar. But I could see  it.

OG-tks for the links and  Q Kids

Tsk- Yes. Space.com is a great site for all things 'spacy'.  ;D

TSK, oh pooh on that turning out to be an AI-generated photo of those wild horses! I will update my post as a result. Hope Karen sees your post about that. I didn't look at it up close, but I was very surprised to see that those wild horses would lay down on the sand by the surf with the beachgoers right there, too. NOT!  :o ::) I hate people doing that stuff. I will update my post about that!

Karen, take note!

Here is what was on the Nasa website:

Return to Earth
Coverage of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 return to Earth from the International Space Station resumes at 4:45 p.m. EDT. The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft undocked from the orbiting laboratory at 1:05 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, March 18, heading for a targeted splashdown at 5:57 p.m. EDT off the coast of Florida.

Lani, thanks again for the Albie updates, what a chubby girl SST is! Good for her!

karen, thanks for the article on the Assateague Island wild horses! I have heard about them, they are pretty famous!

Lisa, hope you are having a wonderful birthday!

Phyl, I agree, the RRP website is being tweaked or something. I tried to open another window and it just spins.

Some pictures of Bella and Talon yesterday. And Rome and Rosie! When I was there yesterday Rosie was a jumping jack! It won't be long until she reaches the top and makes her way over. She is a Yorkie, she just had a haircut at the spa. I have a video, it is so funny, but I can't post it!! Boing!! Boing!! Boing!!

Clynn, thanks for additional astronauts landing info - straight from the NASA. Yes, I, also, just now couldn't get a post to go through on Forum - just got a spinning circle for forever. Then it took me forever to get logged out, and then logged back in, eventually. All my other web pages and links were working perfectly normally. Certainly, Forum maintenance is underway, or else there's a buggy something happening. I'm thinking it's maintenance - the usual time of year for that work, it seems, though sometimes it happens earlier. My avatar always disappears during a new year of Forum maintenance time, and I always have to reset it, like I did today.  Great pics of the Munchkins, and Boing! Boing! Boing! Love it! :D :-*
