kb they mentioned the weather off the coast of Florida would be best on Tuesday for splash down and capsule recovery.

Gotcha.....was thinking that. Another West Coast storm is predicted to head in to our area by mid week.

Sorry I wasn't able to return to finish my morning post. Mike didn't feel well today. A bit of the flu.
He seems to be better tonight.

I hope everyone had a nice Sunday.  :)  And I did post last night, I'm sure I checked it posted.

{{{Tig}}} glad you're feeling better... I wear long sweaters and flannel shirts in the winter.

{{{Lisa}}} glad Bandit was found... I can see Misty acting like nothing is wrong.. Milo would do that too.

Clynn, the pie looks delicious, I hope it's coconut....  I'm crazy about coconut on desserts only.. the snow was gone by Saturday evening. It just soaked in the ground, which will be great.... Sadie loves the snow, she was a happy girl... Norman is the quiet cat and follows me into the garage or patio, I'll close the door without realizing he's in there. Now, I make sure I check where he is before I go to bed.... thankful it stopped snowing for the Big Bear family, lovely night pics..... beautiful Sunday posts

Tsk, I hope Tim was able to get his bandage off today, and is a bit more comfortable... Poor Lulu, Norman is my quiet one and often gets locked in the garage or out on the patio... Interesting story about the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute.... glad your snow is gone.. Our 5" disappeared by late afternoon, just soaked into the ground.

Kb, I was watching the docking with you last night. That was amazing.... stunning Kauai coast video.

BL, thanks for music from the Rabbit Hole.  ;D

Puff, I watched the docking on NASA online, it was neat to watch.... sorry about your garden fence....

Phyl, glad your home was okay after the storm... I hope the water has receded from your steps.... stunning JB classic nature video.... sweet wren is ready for spring.

Lisa, beautiful morning pic....

Lori, sorry about the Big Bear eaglet passing, Fly High little one....  thank you for the beautiful tribute and lovely gifs... I pray the snow stops.

Baz, I did post last night. Spent an hour on it.... "Inspector Dachsheau" spent time looking for it.  ???

Hi Paulie, nothing more special than making wonderful memories with your granddaughter.  ;D ...

Karen, Sadie is Lab/Border Collie mix... your day temps sounds lovely, though I pray the wet weather stays away.... oh dear, intruder at SWFL nest, we don't need another nest being taken over. I hope tomorrow's a better day for F23/M15.

Good night!

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, hope Mike is feeling even better today! I do believe your Saturday night post went POOF! The internet has mysterious ways...  Yes, that was a coconut cream pie, one of my favorites! I love coconut anything, and it is solely intended for sweet treats only, in my opinion! Just yesterday Sophie sneaked into the closet without me seeing her! Luckily I had to get something out of the closet just a bit later!

Phyl, glad to hear the water receded, do you think it would ever reach your house? Did you get to check the nesting boxes?

tsk, cool weekend here, 75, 76 for today and tomorrow, then back to 45 Wednesday. Roller coaster weather! Bet Tim is glad to get that thing off his hand!

The kids are on Spring Break this week, I am going to go pick up Talon and Bella and we will have them for the day. The new equipment at the park is finally done! Ed took the day off today so he can take them to the park!  Need to get some surprises out for them!

The Lake Isle of Innisfree

By William Butler Yeats

I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;
Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight’s all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet’s wings.

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart’s core.

Lani- sorry Mike was ill yesterday---but so glad he's feeling better And, am sure he'll be his old self very soon.  It seemed y ou posted night before.
at least I thought I saw it. Seemed 'Poof'  and was gone.  Oh tks for breed 'history' on Sadie. Pretty gal  you have

CLynn-  Never head of a Rare reddish-orange snowy owl, much less saw one. Thanks for the photo. The nesting boxes are on a slope, my knees and vertigo  are so bad I can't manage it. So Jim checks them. He's been felling very tired and
he just finished putting new bath carpet down in the master bathroom over the weekend. I think he'll get to the boxes either today or tomorrow. No I don't think the overflow will ever reach the house, again.  Not at least,  the drain in the ditch gets blocked by debris from a storm or actual flood.

Tsk- hope Tim is doing better with out his support sleeve for his hand.  Pets to Lulu.

Going back to pic of north coast of Kauai - Na Pali, Hanalei area.  North of island waters can be rocking and rollllling.  But it is not to be missed.  Many options that seem to work; there's a small neighborhood (?) enterprising store that also distributes cruise  tickets who makes extra dispensing remedies.   Three most used:  ginger candy, dramamine, behind-the-ear patch.  Really worth the precautions.  Flights also available but pricier and better views from water's edge.

Switching locale from Kauai to Ireland . . .

Cead Mile Failte  or as my front door mat says:  Failte

Yes, legitimately I do have the Irish gene, one of 4 nationalities from Dad.  (2 from Mom)  = American Mix

I'll have my usual tea and banana then head out to deliver 2 more soda breads.  A banana just because.  Difference today will be switching from Bigelow Perfectly Mint to Connemara Irish Breakfast Tea.  After deliveries it's time to start simmering the corned beef.  My day then finishes with beef, brussel sprouts, bread, Bailey's - The 4 B's of the day!

Only thing missing would be the blast we could all have together.  Can you image?    :o  :o  :o

Not only my heritage but the Irish Tourist Bureau says I'm allowed to claims, remember.  It's been a lot of joy getting that certification.    ;D

Maybe go to Ireland for the day next year?

Enjoy!

P

Tsk, Time was when holidays were celebrated when the holidays were and not when it was convenient for the working group. It was fun at one time to wander around downtown Chicago on the lunch break bumping into people wearing the green and even may be carrying a beer in college there was a bar over on the Illinois side of the Beloit Illinois, Wisconsin line that serve green beer and green hard-boiled eggs and the students  flocked over there before  Class for a sip of beer and an egg and test back for normal activities
My reading has it that we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the US of a fire more than folks in Ireland deal so probably you’ll have more fun downtown Chicago then he will in Dublin. Anyway, happy St. Patrick’s Day to all and enjoy the

Lori meant to thank you for the green, frosted glazed cake case this morning having one with a copy also, thanks for the cute animal Saint Pattys day greetings day
Lani I remember now you’re saying what Sadie’s mix was and I think I pictured her more at the border collie them the lab at any rate. She’s a very pretty girl. Thanks for reminding me.
It would be quite nice if the splash down Would occur during early evening hours, or during the day, and that it would be televised on one of the national channels.
I hope your day with Talon and Bella is a fun one for all
They are who are suffering today. Feel much better and may all those who wander around devastating storm damage over the weekend. Find someway to recover and find shelter. I understand from a report earlier that there were 40 people dead in this
spate  of storms.
Temperature is here today or a little cooler than they have been and it feels good sun is out and the water has soaked in everywhere so hopefully we will not have the floods we keep getting warned About
Interesting and pretty owl.  It concerns me that the snow is already coming, so prevalent South of the border.
Off to take care of some business having have a great day
Lori, thank you for the Green, blaze. KK’s delicious with my coffee. Also thanks for the cute pups and kitties with their Saint Pattys day greetings.
