Thank you Lisa and Karen for the SWFL info on 2nd clutches, very informative and good memories of Harriet.  :-*

{{{Puff}}} so true, I'm sorry to hear about your AZ friend's husband. Sending prayers. We've loss a couple of dear Kansas friends this past two weeks.

Tsk, the Circa Sportsbook area would be a great place to watch Football or March Madness! I'm hoping Lisa's Bradley can do what Phyl has done these past weeks instead of surgery.

Kb, the NC and SC fires are terrible. NC has been through so much, flooding and now fires. dear God  :'( I pray Baz is okay too.

Lori, I am so happy for Shadow and Jackie!! It's been so long since they've had an eaglet to care and love... Thanks for their history. I pray the snow stays away. Just sunny days and no fires.  :-*

{{{Phyl}}}  I pray you had a more comfortable day. 🙏

Good night!

Prayers for all in harm's way of the fires in the Carolinas. 🙏

I haven't seen yet anybody mention the wildfires in NC...multiples of fires.

Hope baz is okay.

I think I know bazi's general location by Wilminton, NC and it appears that she should be in the clear of the wildfires. I checked the NC wildfire map and the fires in that area all looked to be Contained and/or Controlled.

LisaG don't head out on the road down south before Thursday as the weather will be awful/severe along your route of travel before then.

https://www.accuweather.com/en/severe-weather/dangerous-early-march-severe-weather-outbreak-to-span-nearly-2-dozen-states/1750066

Puff you can be my travel agent anytime.
We are fishing out of Ambergris Caye with a local guide at the helm.    :)
The bill fish and tuna are practically throwing themselves into the boat.   :o

Well the coffee is almost gone and it's time to pack up and hit the water .. it's a guys only day today, the gals are going shopping. I can feel my wallet bleeding already.   ;)

BL  Sounds like I was johnny-on-the-spot late.   :-\   I took the dart selection game was to determine your next trip to put together.  You already had it together.

Enjoy that very fresh catch.  Last I heard, 3yrs, prices hadn't gone hogwild crazy like some of the Carib islands.  Isn't it beautiful though!

BL  So the dart landed in Belize?   Have you been there before?    I'm seasick!  :o 8)  Is Pip fishing too?

Nope the dart trip pick (DTP) is only for the contiguous lower 48 states.
We each get one throw and choose one 'prospective location' we might head to.
Both of our B-Day darts this year landed in Idaho, one very close to the River Of No Return Wilderness.
We'll have to see about that outing .. that's some seriously rough country as the name implies and would take some very good logistical planning and knees.  ;)

Actually this trip to Belize was planned for 3 years ago, but Covid-19 put a kink in our travel plans.   :(
Pip is fishing, snorkeling, beach lounging AND SHOPPING on this trip.   ::)

I have been here once before back in the early 90's. It's a magical place as Puff said.   8)
Old neighbors of ours are/were from Costa Rico and Mr. Hose turned me onto both C.R. & Belize.   8) 8)

Today 61F     and   Tonight  32F

The Carolinas have been  thru so very much with the hurricane floods and now the fires

BL thanks for some thoughts on Baz and N  &  S Carolina fire. I'm quite sure  you're correct and she's  safe.   Relieved  by your post that those fires 'appear' to be clear and contained.   LOL " ...can fell your wallet bleeding"  Sounds like a fun trip for you and Pip...safe travels home.

KB-Cool photo...Wayzata MN all those shards of ice   :o

Lori- a big Congrats to Big Bear Jackie & Shadow, confirmed PIP!!!

Lisa- How quickly one s forget what's happened at SWFL  Thanks for that recap.

Puff-   very sorry to hear about your friend's hubby. Sending many prayers and hugs. Do keep us posted.

Lani- thank you  (CLynn, Lisa and  Tsk) for good wishes on my knee. Doc and Amy each told me this would take many more
months to completely heal.  My lower back is giving me  'H'  from the lack of stretching and laying in that @*%@  recliner for two months. I can't
even walk up right I'm so stiff and in pain.  Getting up off that  yoga mat is a massive struggle!  Right knee is still far too tender to put
any weight on it when using yoga mat for floor work out

{{{Karen}}}- glad you enjoyed the  N 365; still I think your weather is heading in good shape

Prayers for:  Victims of natural  and Man-made disasters plus those who rescue them. The Fallen / Our Allies in Defense of our country. And   #4 he follows Your Will.   Police and First Responders.   'Little Gray' and 'Little One' and  all abandoned, abused , lost cats , stray, unloved, homeless  and feral cats.
The Bluebirds of Cane Ridge, Tennessee,  Sauces bald eagle cam nest, Hummingbirds, Bumble Bees  and Honey bees everywhere . As always, Beakers, Cheers and RRP / families.

I was here once before in the early 90's and the prices are still very reasonable here in 2025.

Doesn't look all that much more developed than it was back then either.   8)

"Isn't it beautiful though!"

You got that darn tootin right !    :) ;D

The weather has been just stellar ...

Really gotta run as I'm getting the evil eye from me mates as the sun rises.
Heading out for some Wahoo today.
Our fishing guide Adam (he's an expat from NY) knows a secret honey hole he says.    ;D ;D ;D

Good Morning Beakers!

Slept late again this morning! I'll be in trouble next week, when the clocks spring forward an hour!

BL, I think the fact that both you and Pip hit Idaho means that is your destiny! Glad to hear that the NC fires are under control. I am sure all are relieved... Glad you finally got to go on your Belize trip!  Sorry to hear that your wallet is bleeding, but it will be okay! Have a good fishing day!

Phyl, lovely 365, a sure sign of Spring!  Love the morning pics and here we are in the third chapter of 2025! :D :D  Sounds like your knee will eventually be okay, patience and perseverance. It just takes longer the older we get... sorry is has you in so much pain...

Sauces Nest, the egg is 4 weeks old today!

Lori, I am so happy for Jackie and Shadow! I have been posting about them for you, I know that nest is special to you. Hopefully we will have 3 eagletssoon! And it looks like there will be an eaglet at the Sauces nest, I keep an eye on that one for Phyl!

tsk, I agree about the AI stuff on FB, and it's very hard or impossible to tell if it's AI or real. They do have kind of a perfect look. I right-click and 'check the web for image'. If I see the picture in other places, and identified then I assume it's real. About all we can do these days!

Lisa, thanks for posting the link from Karen, I remember the year there were two clutches at SWFL!

Canada's longest rail route, known as Trans-Canadian, is operated by VIA Rail and connects the cities of Vancouver (on the west coast) with Toronto (on the east), crossing the country side by side. This passage covers about 4,466 kilometers, traversing various regions and breathtaking landscapes, such as the Rocky Mountains, the prairies of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, the forests of Ontario and the northern lakes

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

Same here BL discovered/introduced/fam trip in the 90's.

PHYL  Yep - takes time, too much time.  I fractured my wrist/arm December 12.  First guess(?) was told 4-6 weeks.  Long, sore, depressive guess was no good.  Have 2 appts this week.  The last discussion/guess was 4-6 weeks.  That was just passed; hope to get something of encouragement on Friday.

TV  just reminded of another topic that happened this Saturday while watching Fox & Friends.  As a 30 year business  teacher in Chicago Public High School, retired/quit 1994, I was flabbergasted.  A discussion came up ala statistics about the recent learning levels in US schools.  One of the mentioned crazy findings is that they stopped teaching cursive writing in 3rd/4th grade.  WHAT!!  How can that be? How could kids not know it anyway.  Next, each of the morning team gave a sample of their writing style.  One of the panel is Rachel Campo-Duffy.  Probably in her 50's, military upbringing, husband was a congressional rep now Secretary of Transportation, several kids (6?) two in college. . .sounds good as to educational, day-to-day family, world travelers.
Test of panel - wait.  Each of the three was given a sheet to write the name of the show in cursive.    Fox & Friends.  My first thought was the ampersand. . .Nooooo.  She didn't know how to Cursive write an F.  F looked liked this F.  The others tried to tell her - she said NO.  An F is an F.  I just still do not believe she believed them or would believe anyone.

Maybe things changed for the worse - time to be good parents/grandparents/teachers and to go back and fill in the holes!!

Hi CLynn- awww the seaside...love being near the ocean , the relaxing sound of the surf.   Yep this old gal's knee is gonna take time.

{{{Puff-}}}I remember you talking about you wrist.  Tks for your sympathy/commiseration.  I feel for you...esp it being your wrist and the struggle with just basic functions. Still do, I'm sure.

Any way...I'll let Y'all know when I can do some 'moves'.  LOL   Have a good AM folks.

LORI   Thanks for the update on Big Bear.  ;D

KAREN  So true - your good night Snoopy  :-*  Boy, what next in this country.  Narrowing down the states that have been spared..

KB  Cool shoreline natural ice sculpture.

BL  Have fun today - reel 'em in  ;D  Certainly worth the wait through the Covid era!  I'll tag along with Pip today  LOL

PHYL   " Madhubani" art - stunning.    Love the last really colorful pic.    I've seen this advertised on  FB  but you could look around for something less expensive.

CLYNN   Nice AM of earth tones  ;D   Thanks for the tip on right clicking on FB image.  I usually rely on the "comments".  Wouldn't you love to have the time to do that Trans Canadian train ride?

PUFF  Feel so bad your wrist isn't healing fast enough.  Hope the doc has something more positive to say today.  :-*    Can't imagine not knowing cursive but you don't have cursive keys on a typewriter  LOL

Royal Albatross ~ SSTrig Does Its First Skycall At 34 Days Old 🎺 Cute Trilling ♫ RLK Feeding 3.3.25
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ii2xLUGnBD0

 Mar 2, 2025
This was an exciting day for SSTrig! The chick successfully handled spending the past two nights alone. This morning RLK does a flyby and then lands and walks up to the nest with skycalls to his chick! RLK will feed SSTrig and afterwards, SSTrig is talkative to Dad in its little baby voice. RLK will walk a few steps from the nest and sit down & rest before he departs and SSTrig will do its very first skycall for Dad beginning at 13:09! What an adorable little trilling skycall SSTrig belted out!! I am sure RLK is very proud of his chick! SSTrig is 34 days old today! Thank you for watching! video by Lady Hawk

Good morning Beakers!  :)
Hello Eagles4, Lisa, Ezee, Eburg, Weasel, Jilltosa, Kb, Tsk, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eaglesrock, Emyrauld, Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, BL, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

BL, thanks for the comforting post on Baz and Zippo's location. We have friends in South Carolina, thankfully not near the fires... Thanks for the weather map, looks like we will get a day or two of moisture!! YAY!!! It's cold and cloudy today... . Sounds like its great fishing for you too..... Wahoo (like Ono fish in Hawaii, Mike's favorite) Yummy seafood, warm sunny days and best mate....Best wishes to you and Pip!  have a fun and safe trip.

{{{Puff}}} I pray your doctor and pt can give you positive info on your wrist this week ... I think the computer age has changed cursive writing. I remember hours spent in elementary practicing writing, over and over again. My late mother was left handed, her handwriting was perfect. My MIL was the same way too, excellent handwriting. Aly's a lefty and she writes like her dad, I can't understand a word. except her name.

{{{Phyl}}} sorry you continue to be in a lot of pain and discomfort... I can't imagine how painful it must be using a yoga mat. OUCH! ... morning little mouse popping its body out of the snow. Cute LOL!

Clynn, serene, beautiful morning pics, you and BL remind me of my beautiful islands, ready to go back home. LOL! .. prayers for Sauces nest, they are so devoted to their egglet... One of the most beautiful train trips is the Trans-Canadian. I have many special trips on my bucket list, maybe someday. LOL!

Tsk, Beautiful colors for your shawl....  your morning pic was Milo and Norman at 5am today. Milo is especially noisy, he should have been a rooster.   :-\
