KAREN    LOLOL  BL  has a big job to do.  ;D ;D  Love the vinegar shower...

BL   WOW  Tank is one generous tall Viking.  Kids have to be tall as well?   That California experience will be with you forever along with many others you have had - top 5, I bet.

LANI    Sweet snuggling goodnight kitties  :)

CLYNN   Yes Lulu uses the "new" cat outlook post on the porch in the summer.  Took her a while to sit in the higher  "V" portion preferring the top of the lower circular area where her eyes are just above the window sill, so no critter can see her outdoors.  LOL  Back in the 70's I wanted Tim to see Mt Rushmore and the beginnings of the Crazy Horse memorial.   The next day I said lets head over to Devil's Tower - Probably a couple hours away.   In the pouring rain we got there drove around it and drove back  :P  Couldn't even get out of the car.

Good morning and have a good day!  Still have some snow around the house more in Pipers bathroom than in the front yard. It will be gone before the week is over actually quite early in the week as we are headed for Hy‘s in that little 70s starting soon won’t make any difference if there is sun or not I have really enjoyed seeing the snow and feeling the cool air is it’s been quite a while since I have been in this kind of weather.
Phyl, I Wish you had an iPad type of device that you could hold on your lap and not have to sit at a desk to be online. It certainly would be somewhat of a diversion for you while you are so incapacitated.  Hopefully the swelling in the pain has subsided some well you sit with your leg elevated I just can’t imagine the pain
Cute pictures of Harley and s and s.
Off for more coffee?   Oh Lisa, tell Jeff he has to wTch the commanders!  Cheer them on!

Sunday Blessings Beakers!
Hi Eagles4, Lisa, Ezee, Eburg, Weasel, Jilltosa, Kb, Tsk, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eaglesrock, Emyrauld, Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, BL, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

Clynn, beautiful morning pics... love the open skies and beautiful Sequoia National Park pics... Someday I would drive to see Little Big Horn battlefield and Devil's Tower.

Tsk, too bad about Devil's Tower.... During our honeymoon in Lahaina/Kaanapali we wanted to see the sunrise on top of Haleakala Crater on Maui... we left around 3am to get up there. Midway to the top it was foggy and cars making their way to the top in front of us. It was raining by the time we got to the top it was so thick with fog, rain and temps was in the 50's we couldn't get out of our car and had to turn around. We were dressed for the beach, which we planned on hitting on that side of Maui.  :-\ .... it was sunny and noon by the time we made it back down. We were too tired to go to the beach, so we returned home and I baked chocolate chip cookies.

Karen, good day for football... go Commanders and KC Chiefs!!  8) ... Funny cartoon LOL!  ;D I sometimes wonder what Sadie and Milo thinks when they watch us dress in the morning. LOL!!

Iceberg A23a actual position

Time: 14:40 – 21:40 UTC

Scientists are monitoring A23a closely due to concerns that it may collide with South Georgia Island, potentially threatening a delicate ecosystem which is home to penguins and seals. Satellites play a crucial role in tracking its journey as it travels through the icy waters surrounding Antarctica.

 Good Afternoon Beakers ...

Today   48F  cloudy    Tonight  31F

Im finding creative ways to elevated my right knee while sitting at his desk. None of which is comfortable and gives my
lower back  lots of grief.

Still icing and all
Looking forward to seeing Dr Martin this Wedmesday PM..
Sorry I have't read the weeks post. Pls forgive.

Because you asked how my knee looked... Tsk, I sent you a snap Jim took of my R. knee from yesterday. As I thought it'd better describe  how it looked than I would .
It was all black Monday night. I've been diligent at icing and all. The knot is the size of a small egg\ has shrunk some ---feels liike it's full of fluid.
. Lower leg is still swollen and changes color daily it seems.
But the cane is a bugger for me to adjust too. I know what you said about weight distyribution. Some how I find that easirer to do with both hands---yes cane & weight  is on the left hand side.

I did enjoy the Caturdays !

Tks for thinking of me Y'all

Take care and stay warm!

Prayers for:  Victims of natural  and Man-made disasters plus those who rescue them. The Fallen / Our Allies in Defense of our country. And   #47.   Police and First Responders.   'Little Gray' and 'Little One' and  all abandoned, abused , lost cats , stray, unloved, homeless  and feral cats.
The Bluebirds of Cane Ridge, Tennessee,  Sauces bald eagle cam nest, Hummingbirds, Bumble Bees  and Honey bees everywhere . As always, Beakers, Cheers and RRP / families.

You have been up  Haleakala haven't you?  Mike?  Worth the view and sunrise.  I usually offer my clients the van up/bike down option.  I also always remind visitors about the possible freeze temps up there.  Many new regulations two years ago.  Now also discussing a possible environment effect charge to any visitors to the islands.  I don't agree with some of the methods - not that anyone asked.

karen - You know Jeff isn't watching the game, but checking online at score.  He is just happy they have got this far, he said.

Lani - Oh no, on the iceberg.  Go Chiefs!

KAREN   Truly laughed out loud at your exercise cartoon  ;D ;D ;D

LANI    Now we see proof of how inclusive the rabbi community is.  LOLOL      And it was on your honeymoon too that very romantic attempt at a beautiful sunrise .  :'( :'(    I'm sure the CC cookies were much appreciated.  :)   Boy lets hope that iceberg collision never happens!   Looks like Philadelphia will beat the Commanders.  KC  starts at 5:30  CST.

PHYL   I didn't get a pic from you  :-\

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, hope we have a new Alby chick today!  I bet Mike is a happy man today!  Is he home for a while?  Those Jewish dogs are so cute, the short and the tall!

tsk, well, on our honeymoon - we went on a cruise to the Bahamas (1984) and had a great time until the last day. Ed came down with something, he said it was like pins/needles stabbing him all over. The hotel called a cab to take him to the ER (it was an OLD Cadillac). They said he had 2nd degree sunburn and gave him pain meds. the total charge, $15. On the plane they had room and gave him all three seats so he could lay down. Emergency room somewhere in Chicago, they told him to go to his regular doctor. They couldn't find out what it was but his liver count was the opposite of cirrhosis. We got home. 3rd doctor, still no diagnosis. It went away by itself. End of story.

Lisa, is your snow all gone? How are you liking your new floors?

Phyl, hope your knee feels better today! Sounds like it looks awful! But that's the way bruises are! Mom fell on a trip to Colorado a few years ago and they stopped here on the way home. She looked like someone had beaten her up! The bruises were awful and they look worse before they look better! Take care! We have some nice (for winter) weather coming up! Starting today 48, 54, 48, 54, 45, 45, 44.  Very weird for January! Are you going to have anything similar?

baz, where are you??

OH NO...

Showing signs of distress just a few minutes prior to passing (6:41pm), we have no concrete information beyond what was observed on the cameras. We do not want to speculate or provide inaccurate information about possible causes of death but will reach out to local wildlife officials to decide next steps and a possible necropsy.
