Good Morning Beakers

kb - The 3 year old child prodigy is awesome on those drums.

BL - Thanks for the tunes, and be safe!

Lani - I am excited, but I don't think Bandit & Misty are excited.  They are a lil out of sorts with where their stuff has been placed.

Phyl - There is lots of things I miss about the South too, especially some of the food.  I do bring an ice chest with me when I go down, so I can bring stuff back home.  Thanks for 365, and RRP post.

tsk - I didn't take a before pic.  These guys came in here so fast, that the old floor is already ripped up.  There was another floor below that, and they are ripping that one up too.  There will need to repair the sub floor by my back door, as it was a lil damaged there from the wind driven rain coming in.  Your kitchen cabinets are so beautiful.

clynn - I am hoping they get everything done today, floors and doors.  Hope things turn out good at NEFL, after all the drama they had after eggs were laid.  Beautiful pic of the Norths.

Lori - Good luck at the pain clinic.

tig, oldguy, karen, Puff and all - Morning  :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, jilltosa!!

Good Morning Beakers

Here is a Home builder from Texas that also does online build shows to promote better building practices and materials throughout the US.  He is looking at some of the homes in the fire areas of LA that survived intact and why.

karen - It was 9° here this morning with the wind chill, so I am thinking the kitties are all in the shed.  I have not seen any since the work started around 9am.  The guys have been in and out the back door alot.

Lani - Mmmm, I will take one of those croissants, please!

oldguy - Thanks for the videos.

Lisa- an after photo will suffice; Bandit & Misty will be so happy when floors/doors are finished...so will their 'mom' . I wager the B &B kitties are none to happy either. Your temp today, 'Brrr!"

Lori- luscious strawberry cake for Jilltosa; all the best @ the pain clinic ; cute chicks excited about the snow

Karen- sure hope the snow misses you

Lani-a piping hot croissants please-- I have some real butter in the fridge.  :)

OG-interesting article why some houses remain intact; tks for links will tackle later

Howdy Beakers!  :)

I have been chilled to the bone... all day! So mid-morning, I made a big scratch batch of hot chocolate, and delivered steaming mugs of it topped with mini-marshmallows to the doors of a couple of my neighbors. A sweet treat to warm our bones! I had 2 cups!!  ;) :D

Lani, gosh darn!! I can't belee your fridge is on the fritz!! Dang, eeevennn!! I would be beside myself, especially after all you have dealt with lately with cars and other appliances, and now Mike's heater repair, and such! I would definitely go the sage route!  :D  When I bought my wonderful house back in 1996 where I used to live, a good friend of mine, who has lots of experience with such, came over with big bunches of dried sage made for such, and we did a smudging all through my house - opened every closet, and all! Incantations, followed by snacks and wine!  ;D ;D  I say go for it! It can't hurt! Let the Universe know you are expecting the household operations powers-that-be to straighten up and fly right!!
  :D

Take care, All. Wishes for Comfort and healing for All in need. Peace. SED.

Prayers for All affected by so many fires, and All who help.

I haven't been to Forum for a few days. I am soooo lost!!

I haven't a clue how I got here. I clicked on something and saw the name Beak Room 2025.

I can't find Cheers or other familiar threads either.

I don't know if I'll find my way back here to read if anyone posts instructions to Cheers or how to navigate this new setup.
