I will be still about the complaint about my temp this morning. Several of you have "best-ed" me.
It could be worse - we could be in California. I've been following FOX since about 5:30 this morning. I have a lot of nerve to complain. Their reporter lives (lived) in the Palisades. Great coverage - knows the area, has contacts with friends, wife is a backup source since she is also a competitor reporter, his daughter was to graduate next year from the local high school. The high school is gone. He had word earlier that their home had caught fire. He didn't know for certain but he doesn't think his house will be there when they can get back there. Just imagine. But he'll go on until . . . he said.
He said the news is already to be faced - $16 million house gone just like the homes in the local mobile home park. With the sunrise the tears will be unstoppable. Can't even imagine the values of the contents of all the homes/businesses. Let's all say prayers for all - residents, workers, businesses, animals, pets, rescuers. They'll need an enormous amount of solace and prayers. Those down south have witnessed the value of our country's concern and help during their flooding. It's now time to share all we can with CA.
You'll not be hearing any complains from me in the future.
HUGS for thousands, again.
