The eagle pair were on camera early this morning, perched together in the N6 tree.  Then one was in a tall tree near N2B, across the road from the Pond.

Great pics, STL

Some pics of HD and the female this morning on Spooky Tree.  HD was eating, and female wanted some.  Female flew down to ground, and back up to perch for a good while on Spooky tree.

That Spooky tree is great for close up pics of the eagles!

Not a lot of activity at Decorah so far today.  Good view of one of the BE pair perched high up across Trout Run Road from the Pons.

The N1 goslings are molting into more adult plumage.

HD and female perched in the Hatchery pines for an hour or so this morning.

HD and the female were early birds this morning, perching on the pine by raceways.  HD flew out, and female stayed, she flew out a while later and perched on trees between the pines.  Both were in separate spots later morning, HD on lower bluff tree, female on 1st bluff near Trout Run Rd.

Lisa, I saw those views yesterday too.  Good to have the location names to refer to.

Just at daylight, the N1 geese crossed the road at the picnic tables to start their day.
About 5:45 AM, cam ops got a good view of two great blue herons perched in a snag but not sure where.
And the eagle pair were together in that lower bluff tree about 6:30 AM.

Morning activity at the creek, upstream from N1.  Deer, doe and fawn, raccoon.

White tail Does usually have only one fawn their first year.  After that, usually twins.
