Sorry to bother everyone in this thread. I'm just following up with Lisa and BL. My apologies.  :-\

Something happened when I posted in the Beak this morning. I hit post and I got the spinning circle and then I saw my post listed in the Beak
and then I was locked out of the Beak Room to check on it. And I see the last two pages of the Beak are gone.
Whatever happened occured when I posted.  :-\

I can't even get to the Beak thread at all.  I get that message I posted to BL below.

I will send Amy a email, hopefully she can figure it out.   :)

HD and the female were working on N6 early this morning.  They are almost hidden by the leaves now.

The N1 goose family is thriving!  The goslings are somewhat successful at dunkinig for food under the water now.

The HD + pair of BEs perched in the rain on a branch out by the pond bluffs (I think) about 8:00 this morning.

The N1 goose family has been at the Pond all day today.  They took a nice walkabout hike on a mowed path away from the Pond after 2:30 this afternoon.  I wonder how old they have to be to fly.  My Birds of Missouri book says 45 - 52 days.

That poor MG on N2B is still sitting on those 5 unhatchable eggs.  She covered them with feathers and left for a few minutes about 1:00 PM.

STL, one of MGN2B eggs got from under her this afternoon and rolled to the side of the nest. It’s kinda wedged near the rails, and don’t think she can get it back up.

Lisa, thanks for the note about the escaped goose egg at N2B.  Looks like it is lodged in place.  She is still tending the other 4 eggs, and was off the nest for longer times this morning as shown on the rewind.

The N1 goose family is at the Pond this morning, swimming across in a nice straight line in the pic.

One of the BEs perched at top of a tree on the N2B side of the Pond for a while about 8:00 this morning.  Which?  Nice panning from the cam ops so we can tell which tree.    :D

Lovely pics, Lisa.  The eagle pair and their N6 nest are getting really hard to see.

About 7:00 this morning, several turkey vultchers were sunning in a dead tree, but don't know the location.

This morning, one of the eagles flew around the Pond about 7:30, then perched at the top of a large tree across the road near the N2B nest tree, see pics.

The N1 family had a nice dip in the Pond about the same time.  Later in the day, they were with a large group of geese feeding around the Pond, but still no other goslings seem to be in this area.

Yesterday, I forgot to post about the N2B nest situation.  The 4 eggs left in the center of the nest have been abandoned. The rewind from overnight through the whole day didn't show the mother goose at the nest at all.  It's sad that all of the eggs at N2B were infertile.  Hope for a successful hatch next year.

Raccoons are likely to raid the nest soon, or perhaps RRP plans to retrieve the eggs to see why they didn't hatch.  Seems to have been more unhatched eggs among the RRP nests than ususal, is that correct?

Yes, the nest at N6 is getting really hard to see.

Early morning view of two raccoons upstream from N1.  A distant view showed several deer crossing, but too far for a pic.

The eagle pair were on camera early this morning, perched together in the N6 tree.  Then one was in a tall tree near N2B, across the road from the Pond.

What a nice pic of HD and new female.  They make a lovely pair.
