Three as near as I can tell...

There were 4 hatched
but only 3 left

Seems like an unusually high mortality this year

....  and unhatched eggs

They're getting so big.  I noticed when one flapped there were little wing tips starting.  Dad dropped of breakfast for mom to feed..........

Sorry about yesterday we were gone a lot and I didn't get a chance to get in here!  I'll see if I can get some leg shots today.  Meanwhile, dad dropped off a Red-Wing Blackbird for breakfast today....

Waiting for breakfast.  Big difference in size between the left one and next one.  Love that little round fuzzy head. 




Wings.  We'll be seeing a lot more flapping to exercise them in the coming days,

The feathers are sure coming in great!!  I feel sorry for the parent that goes in to feed them.  They practically attack and grab at its beak, grab the prey, you name it.  When the one grabbed the meal the parent had to really yank to get it back!
