This noon Mr. came in and was conversing with Mrs.  She came in and they did some chattering and bowing and then he left, she stayed for a little while and then left.

Thanks Shep.  I'm guessing early this morning.  Dad stopped in a couple times.  It looked like when mom took a break a meal was left with the egg and dad "stood guard" for a while.  He did bring mom lunch this afternoon and she took it from him and left.

I believe this is a little after she laid the 2nd egg....


Dad came to see, looking in from the perch....


He came in, but she sure guarded those eggs...

The second egg was on April 1st.

Dad brought breakfast to mom about 10 AM.....

Maybe tomorrow we'll have another egg.  At least they have them out where we can see them....

Not quite sure what is for lunch, but he brought her a good sized one.

Mom laid egg #3 overnight.  She took a break this morning while dad took a turn keeping them warm.  When she came back she stayed on the perch and dad swooped down and around the open part between the nest box and the bridge and came back and mated with mom before she went back to the eggs.

If you look to the right side of the one bridge support you'll see dad on his flight...


And dad returned....
