Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, those little sloths in the video were really moving fast! Sweet sleeping puppy...

tsk, sandwiches, chips and fruit, a good lunch! And all are well, I presume! Hope Barb and Tom had a nice anniversary, now you have one day left this year to relax?

Lisa, love your morning coffee! I am going to see how long the 6 gallons of chocolate milk lasts, it will really be only 5. He gives at least one gallon to Erin. Is the KittyKat Motel all booked up?

oldguy, love the missing dog story, and thanks for all the links! Volcanoes never die...

Phyl, love the picture of the Norths, they are both so beautiful and the nest looks good! So what was going Nutz at your house yesterday? I created a puzzle of your picture of houses yesterday, it was a good one!

History Daily ·  In 1932, a daring feat was captured on film: two intrepid workers perched precariously atop the 61st floor of the Chrysler Building, tending to its iconic eagle ornament. Suspended high above the bustling streets of New York City, they undertook the perilous task of maintaining this symbol of the Art Deco era. The majestic eagle, with its wings outstretched, was more than just a decorative element. It was a testament to the building's grandeur and the city's ambition. Its placement at the pinnacle of the skyscraper made it a breathtaking sight for all who looked up. Yet, its lofty position also presented unique challenges for its caretakers.

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

Started the day by learning two new things - Minn fans don't like SF as much as they "dislike" Det.

Been there done that - Been in NY many times, even inside Chrysler Bldg, but never knew there were multiple eagles on varied points.  Interesting pic of 1930's NYC groundscape.  You could actually see the grounds/roads of Manhattan.

That big puppy   ???  really was smart.  Knew his way around town and had he eye on that funny little switch on the door panel.  A real smartie.

Mornin' all.  Another ugly day today/tonight.  Gray, rainy, windy, dropping about 20 degrees tomorow.  Cold settles in next week, highs in the teens?

Enjoy the day's celebrations - Happy, happy, happy new year.

 Good Morning Beakers ...Happy Tuesday!

Currently: 54F cloudy , High  54F mostly,  with  Low 38F

In a few hours we will be 'kissing' 2024 'GoodBye". And welcoming 2025  with all his promises.

Yesterday went a foul and nothing turned out right.  But in the end I made it to an afternoon appointment. And, after dinner  all seems
right.
Oh and like you, Lani, I agree,  the cam shots of Mr & Mrs North did accentuate their feathers . And those mischievous sloth critters I do like them
better when they're kidding around with each other.

OG I'll check out the links in a bit. And, Lisa, I  like those warm cozies for mugs. And, Tsk, wishing  'B & T" a happy anniversary.

Hi Puff.

CLynn--yesterday AM greeting would make an excellent puzzle

Prayers for:  Victims of natural  and Man-made disasters plus those who rescue them. The Fallen / Our Allies in Defense of our country. And   #47.   Police and First Responders.   'Little Gray' and 'Little One' and  all abandoned, abused , lost cats , stray, unloved, homeless  and feral cats.
The Bluebirds of Cane Ridge, Tennessee,  Sauces bald eagle cam nest, Hummingbirds, Bumble Bees  and Honey bees everywhere . As always, Beakers, Cheerios and RRP / families.

bounce

Puff... Bears, Lions, Packers all in our division... so are all natural rivals, but especially the Pack. But if we win over the Lions next Sunday, we get a bye week and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

A few tasks completed, including writing bdays, etc. on next year's wall calendar that hangs in the computer room, so Camper can easily see... if he remembers to look. Lol

LISA  Dinner very nice.  Food always good there.  We all took home doggie bags.  So do not have to cook dinner altho I have a potato soup crocking in the pot!   However early this AM as I glanced in the frig I noticed only my doggie bag left!

LANI   Nice, cozy AM gif. :)

Good evening and a pleasant Good Night!  😴 i think of this as the end of the Holiday Season and the beginning of the true winter days!   My two filter issues have been fixed and Bubba will be here Thursday afternoon to see if the vent can be repaired or if the dryer vent has to be rerouted!  Ugh! Piper thinks it has been a niceyear but wants to wish you all a Happy New Year!
