I had a nice long post and it went away, so I will just say--Thank you all for the Birthday wishes and the goodies and all your wonderful postings all year.  I learn a lot from each of you and have some of the same issues to deal with--a Kitty, health problems, computer issues, and yard and household work.  I had a great Birthday--Son & Grandson came and brought a delicious cranberry coffee cake that my Daughter-in-law made, then we went to lunch at Texas Roadhouse. The salad and shrimp were delicious, and it was great to spend some time with them. Thanks again to all of you Beakers and Have A Wonderful Holiday. Bev

Pretty tree Tig and  wonderful evening last night!
Good news on the bridge but what is the insurance responsible for?   If you drive into something with your car, you pay!   Oh, well.
I’m just off the phone with the  girl  i met when I was 3 and a half!   We grew up across the street from each other.  Same age. Oh my..  also heard from a gal who lived a few houses down, she is 8 years younger!   Lynn and her husband stopped here on their way  on a vacation,  maybe 8 years ago.   She is my friend , same age!
Both older than dirt!  Lol!
Tsk, a weather warning fir Chicago flashed up on my computer a while ago., hope it did not cause a problem for you and Tim.   Did nit say what the issue was.

Lani, love your pops fron the religious order.  One is cuter than the ither.  Hope you are. Enjoying tge weekend.  How is Shannon doing?

Who does not like Snoopy?

Happy Birthday, BEGolden!  Hope ypu have an awesome  year !
Happy Caturday
Clynn, you kelsey and Ed have a safe trip!  Merry Christmas to your Mom!

Lisa, think I read the cost of the Key Bridge is  being met by insurance money!,  could be some need for additional funds, I guess!

Baz, Sadly the Valdosta team did not win today!
They were picked to win as in 4 previous years but an opposing player got 🤠  5 touch downs and that was that!   This was the coaches  last game! New kitty for your sister?
Offto dream land for Piper  and me after a
  quick trip outside!   Seds

Karen, I'm sorry Valdosta State didn't win - especially since it was their coach's last game! Missy the Kitty, watching the snow, belongs to my older Mtns Sis (who lives in a cabin in the TN mtns), not my younger Lil Sis (who lives in NC), who had Etta. My Mtns Sis has Missy and 2 other cats - none of them are "new." My Lil Sis hasn't had any cats since Etta's death this past summer. She has been traveling almost constantly, so I'm sure that has played into her not getting another kitty at this time.

Howdy Beakers!  :)

I'm too pooped to pop, and hungry, too! So I'm off to the kitchen and then to catch up on the evening news.

The Kennedy Center Honors are on CBS tonight (8:30 my Eastern time), for those interested, and streaming via other venues. I always enjoy the tributes to the 5 various artists honored each year. The honorees this year are: The Grateful Dead, Bonnie Raitt, Francis Ford Coppola, The Apollo Theatre Foundation, and Arturo Sandoval.

Well, I certainly lost track of when Clynn and Fam would be traveling to her Mom's. They went today?

Smooth travels, Clynn!  :)

Lani, LOL on your pup!!  ;D I read that the Pope wants the clergy to loosen up, so I think that poodle should help lead the way!
  ;) :-*

Good Night, (((All))). Stay safe and warm. Peace. SED.

Tig--very colorful Christmas tree this year. Ditto Tsk, long concert  w/o an intermission.  Glad you still enjoyed it.

BGolden- hate when a long well planned post goes 'Poof' either  by one's own  or the PC 'gremlins'.
So happy you had a great celebration with your family and friends.

KB- "now...Ollie man !?'

Lisa--really liked the cookies and cocoa. You make the best kind !  ;D

Baz--LOL ' official  Christmas candy ' of our youth.. Yep, high fructose corn syrup, red, yellow, blue dyes.  In the desert southwest it stayed fairly separate with help of the air conditioner.  Haven't had that in ages...
All the best to The Kennedy Center Honorees to night.

Well...I think I'm up to date.  :-\

Good Night Beakers... SEDs

I opened this from KAREN this AM

https://m.facebook.com/groups/1969306679987542/permalink/3811939465724245/?

KAREN   How wonderful it is to get phone calls from old friends esp at this time of the year.  Had you heard from that old neighborhood friend before?  Not aware of anything weather wise .  Chance of some rain - high 40.

BAZI    Have the last half of Kennedy Centers to watch.  Really enjoy that program.  Beautiful tribute to Bonnie Raitt.  I think CLYNN et al left on Sunday to return next Sunday     Sooo true about that Christmas candy.  Grandma and Grandpa used to always have that on display at holiday time  LOLOL  You'd  try to take a piece and several would come with it  :o ::)

Off to decorate the church and set up the gym this AM.  Hope a large group comes to help.
